BMF looks great...like the entire build. B) Is that Testors limefire ice?...over white??
  2. It always works...really doesnt waste paint in the end. Soaking in solvent (for a long time) will soften the whole thing and can cause blow by....been there. I keep all tamiya and duplicolor nozzels clean this way and have been surprised by the complete lack of issues! I decant all colors and 1/2 of my TS13 clear as needed
  3. figgure out what look you want then cut and fit...remember...its just plastic and you can always glue it back together!!! My photobucket link will show you my 29, 31, and 32 builds, all with Zd frames. The 48 Aerosedan is old school body drop and frame slammed west coast style no Z on this one. the 50 ford is reversed springs etc... the 65 step is new school...IFS...raised on the frame and lowered rear with a mild C notch frame
  4. Tower lists it as Pending...
  5. Well I got around to building this kit......I hope it was my box but the fit of the four part hood to the body is awful..actually just ordered a new set from revell. Mine was way too wide or short or both?? Read all the reviews on this one and hood was not an issue..... The fit of the rest of the cab is sloppy...lotsa gaps, easily fixed....but.......... Heres a few shots of the mockup...yeah I did do a bit of cutting with the Zona.....but nothing extra here....
  6. not sure yet...it will tell me.....sublime and silver keep talking out.....
  7. You can Z that one easily, I did a major Z up front on this one.... On the '29 it got Zd front and rear....
  8. Sure.......NOT!!!! As a Blue Oval man...I do not care for many bowties..this roofline is killer though... Started with the front, moved the A arms up to the top of the frame, dropping things nicely only a couple of cuts needed in the rear, cut the "springs" and C notched the frame Now we are starting to get the right stance..didn't want these wheels, but easier to use these than cut the middle crossmember...
  9. Chopped, sectioned , and slammed...Ardun Powered
  10. Another reason I use Tenax... This is in a Tamiya cap Pro-Weld (just as good) has a 2 oz bottle not 1oz so I have not found a cap yet for it. Although after reading Aarons post below I'm gonna use the PVC in the spray cap

  17. Check out my avatar...Rather than Webers...modern injection and nitrous can make awsum power and look killer.
  18. It will be seen.....PS is great.....not perfect...I suspect if a question arises...elimination will occur

  21. Who's Phil ???
  22. Hey Tom....cut a rectangle hole and insert a alum tube wrapped in saran wrap, bondo the insideof the hole, let dry, slide the tube out , file off excess
  23. Wish I could tell you a source...all mine show it "on order", I also use duplacolor primer and now shoot a coat of HOK BC26 white base for all my HOK jobs. Duplacolor linen white is OK, but shoots glossy as it is a top coat......
