However thats one other few remaining Johan molds that the former owner of Johan is still using. I'm told he's selling them at shows and the quality has suffered. Buyer beware.
Okay. Here's my starting point. Released once in its stock form and once as a custom. My parts seem to have a little of both kits. I got this from a friend who got it off eBay. Pretty sure it's a '77.
Alright you animals. It's time to kick the tires and light the fires. Fire up your shop crew and get cracking.
Don't forget to post up a pic of the parts/kits/re-builder you are starting with if you haven't already done so.
I'll get some pics up later tonight.
So you are saying that this current gearbox is in no way correct for this application.
So without rebuilding a tranny from scratch what would be your recommendation for a shifter/clutch pedal/throttle combination? I realize I may have to throw mechanical correctness out the window and go with "hey that looks cool."
My current Allison powered project is progressing nicely and I'm working on the "cockpit". Does anyone know what sort of tranny is on the AMT Allison V12? Maybe some of the truck guys recognize it. What sort of shifter/clutch pedal/throttle combination should I be using here. There is very little reference on the internet. This one pic from Big Al doesn't show much? Is that lever a shifter or a throttle? I'm not seeing any pedals. Any help here would be much appreciated.
Santa left one of these under the tree this year. My first impression is very good. Minimal flash, great chrome. All the custom goodies are great.
Not sure of my plans for it, but I'm looking forward to it.
The steelies in the AMT 56 Vicky are pretty deep for cheater slicks in the back.
Umm.................just double checked, they aren't that deep after all.
