  1. Looks nice! I like the late foxbodies, and the shape of the LX adds to the variety. I plan on doing an LX in Calypso Green in the foreseeable future. Again, well done.
  2. Many thanks guys! Well, I recommend it. There is another variant of the same kit for a "custom corvette", with a raised custom hood and turbine wheels (red model shown on the box top). I will be looking out for that one, too. Thanks, the color is a metallic green from the can by German brand Multona. If you need more details, let me know.
  3. Hi there, this snap kit was much better than expected and offers a nice body shape, unlike other kits (Arii 1982 Corvette, for instance). I did some detailing on the interior and body but mostly concentrated on the paint job. Great fun to build! It has to be said that the kit has not much to do with the actual "Turbo Vette", but depicts a regular 1980 model (if I'm not mistaken). But that was just what I was looking to build.
  4. Hi Jorge, great to see you too on this forum. Thanks for your kind words, but in fact it was only 12 models… but the year was (20)24 😉
  5. Many thanks guys for your kind feedback.
  6. Hello everyone, I took on an old kit from AMT. It is the Chevy Nova 76 in the "Street Machine" version. Since the kit only contains parts for a drag version, but I wanted to build a largely stock version, I had to use some parts from the '72 Chevy Nova SS (AMT also) kit. This affected the wheels and tires as well as the back seat. I replaced the very poorly fitting glass part from the kit with inserts I made myself from transparent Evergreen Sheet. Since the kit and its chassis were only designed for the drag version, I had to scratch build a mount to hold the stock wheels and tires. The exterior mirrors, the gear stick and the decals for the tire labeling came from the parts box. The boday was painted in light ivory and chocolate brown, 1K clear coat on top of that. The model is inspired by a corresponding vehicle from the TV series "The Americans": (Copyright: www.imcdb.org) I didn't manage to compensate all downsides of the kit, but I hope there is some similarity to the original car.
  7. Many thanks guys!
  8. Happy new year to all, thanks for your kind feedback!

  10. Well done Ludwig, I especially like the Buick. Model on (and build more) in 2025! 😀
  11. I am in awe of your fantastic achievement!
  12. Hi Anders, a fabulous color combo and great work all around, as usual!
  13. Hi Jürgen, what a beauty! Your work really stands out in all departments, but especially the wire wheels. I'm still in awe of your process of handling those wires to make beautiful wheels, which I once saw in a tutorial of yours (on another forum, IIRC?).
  14. Many thanks for your kind feedback, Don. And I like the comparison with the sow's ear. 😅
  15. Hi there, you got the job done well. I like the choice of color and the overall paintjob. It also looks like you did really good as far as the filling work on top is concerned. I'll have to do this myself one day as I am most probably not going to build a Bond car either. Normally, for a 100% stock car of this era, the thick and super-shiny 2K clear would be a tad too much IMHO. But the different wheels give the car an air of a restomod and showcar. That's why it works, I gather.
  16. Extra-cool! Great work!
  17. Many thanks guys! The color I used us Tamiya Light Gun Metal. The wheels, by the way, are 17 inch BBS RM turned wheels from Scale Production. The tyres have been grabbed from the parts box.
  18. Hi there, here is my take on this car from the iconic 80's/ 90's German car tuner Koenig Specials.
