  1. Well done again, Randy!
  2. Hi folks, this has been my first Lindberg full kit. I was pretty pleased with building it until body and chassis had to come together. After that, in order to get it look and fit right, it was screw clamps and superglue - a lot of it. I hope the result looks good anyways...
  3. Hi Anders, you did a great job in every department! The luggage rack always looks good on a C3 vonvertible... A real "Black Beauty"!
  4. Great save Mike, your Galaxie looks top-notch! I was happy to score the "AMT-Frog" release of this kit (unbuilt and complete) on Ebay - at only around twice the price of a regular Revell kit. AFAIK this kit was a re-release of the original AMT kit for the European, mainly British, market somewhere in the first half of the 70's. It seems to be widely unknown, as before adding it to my stash on Scalemates.com, first I had to enter the kit to the database...
  5. Wow, this is a great model! Excellent work in every department. IMHO, this Tamiya kit comes with a big downside compared to other kits (like, for instance, the Aoshima one). And that is the molded-in "half-engine" detail instead of a complete, separate engine. That makes it so much harder to paint and detail it in order to make it look good. But you sure MADE it look good!
  6. Many thanks guys!
  7. As I wasn't too pleased with the position of the front bumper I did some modification and I think it looks much better now. The problem part was the "middle frame" between the grille and bumper. It's supposed to hold the bumper but it's shaped in such a way as to keep the bumper too far away from the body so there was unpleasant gap before. I cut the lower part off the frame so now the bumper could be placed in the correct way. This is how it looks now:
  8. Many thanks for your feedbacks!
  9. Thanks for your kind words! Thanks Bill. You mean the black part on the 69 GTX hood? That's painted.
  10. Hi folks, I got another Mopar done.
  11. Thanks Carl, this is appreciated!
  12. Very nice! That is already the second excellent build that I see of that kit on this forum, done as a "street version". I have mine to do yet but there is a big chance it will be done in blue with stripes, too!
  13. Many thanks for your kind words!
  14. Superb build all around, Anders! And I love the interior color!
  15. Thanks guys... happy you like it!
  16. I have seen this only now... Great tutorial, many thanks, Steve! I wouldn't say that I have been struggling with BMF before, but this might take my work to a higher level. Especially, when it comes to difficult arches, curves etc.
  17. Good job, well done!
  18. 2006 Chrysler Sebring Convertible (JR). As our family's vacations and travels had be cancelled this summer due to Covid-19, I decided to buy this car instead for cruising the home territory. Really nice ride...
  19. Excellent work on both of them... I have the AMT in my stash but I'm looking forward to getting the Revell one, too. As soon as it will be available over here...
  20. Thanks a lot for your kind feedback! That's the beauty about this kit, it comes with choices... It contains both the Mags and hubcap wheels and a nice decal sheet with several stripe colors to choose from. The redlines on the wheels are decals from the sheet, too!
  21. Hi folks, this Mopar has been on my to-do-list for quite some time. And it was clear all the way which color I would do it in. I fell in love with the car in the "Art of Mopar" book I own, so it had to be that Medium Turquoise Poly (code LL-1). This is the Revell kit, built box-stock except for the radio antenna. And a snapshot with the General:
  22. Beautiful Caddy, excellent work all around - I love it!
  23. Hi Ludwig, well done on the inside and outside! Nice touch on the half-opened side windows. I like the choice of colors too. Did the wheels come with this “brass” look or did you treat them in any way?
