Beautiful build and a nice paint job! The kit wheels look good, too. Well done!
-
Many thanks!

Thanks folks, for all your kind feedback! Thanks! The wheels and caps have been borrowed from a Revell kit. I believe it was a Charger one... Tyres have been taken from the parts bin, tyre decals are from Fireball Modelworks.

Hi Ludwig, another nice model! Clean build as usual, the Merc looks very nice in Jamaican Yellow!

Thanks a lot for your comments!

Hi Ludwig, another beautiful build by your capable hands! Very nice body paint, great BMF work and lovely interior details. Great work! -
Thanks a lot, Ludwig, Carl and David!

Thanks Mark. All these images have been made after finishing the builds, under various conditions. Some (like the Mustang) outside in the late afternoon outside, but most of them inside. On the inside, I either use the regular light on the workbench or (if I'm not too lazy to set it up) I use a simple "photo light box" that has a bulb emitting natural light.

Thanks for your kind feedback! I used low-budget automotive spray paint (Royal Blue, cleared with 1k clear coat) on the Talladega and Testors Plum Crazy Enamel paint (without clear) on the '71 Satellite.

Thanks Chris!

Thanks for your comments! Yes indeed, Tamiya Racing White is a much warmer, creamier kind of white than I'd expected. And I used it over white primer, so it couldn't have been toned down by that. But if you compare it to the Butternut Yellow/ Mayfair Maize color on the 65 GTO on he last image, you will find there is quite a difference compared to light yellow, so it's fine by me.

Hi folks, I finished another one. This is first Polar Lights kit I built. It's one from the series of pre-painted (snap) kits, although "painted" is rather inadequate given the fact that the body was just black plastic covered with clear coat. Anyways, I stripped the clear off and did my first ever white paint job on a model, using Tamiya white primer and Racing White paint. Here we go: Taking a spin on a sunny day, along with his younger brother ('65 AMT)...

I agree. However, to my knowledge, Fujimi did not do a kit of that gen Camaro (they did the gen before), but Arii did the 82 vintage.

Another great model, Steve. I enjoyed following the WIP (and learning a little here and there ? ) as I enjoy looking at the fabulous result!
-
Wow, that’s a great build - the best one I‘ve seen of this gen Camaro! Excellent engine and all the details you created add to the great result! Given the extreme shine of the body color, I reckon you used 2k clear?

Hi there, in times of the virus, the only good thing is that you get things done at home. I just finished this restoration of the Buick Wildcat '66 Hasegawa kit. Very simplistic kit but I like it's shape of the body.

Hi there, nice builds! I especially like Geno's 58 Impala! Myself, I got another resto done. Buick Wildcat '66, the Hasegawa kit. More images in the Under Glass section.

Hi Ludwig, you created a beautiful beast there! Very nice overall job, the color suits this mean machine perfectly. I like this much better than the typical Baldwin Motion look!

Nice Charger, like it!
