  1. I have somewhere between 150 and 200 kits. It doesn't bother her at all, as long as I keep everything confined to within my model room and the garage. The only thing that she won't let me do is spray paint in the house. Go figure...
  2. That's from the same guy that designed these 2 cars! Just goes to show that there's noting like American ingenuity when it comes to wanting to go faster!
  3. Welcome!! I'll wait to see how this works out for you before I suggest that my wife joins, too!
  4. Now there's one lucky guy!! Good job, Lyle!!
  5. John, That's another really nice build!! Simple, clean, and all of the main details are there!! Thanks for sharing!! I never get tired of seeing these!!
  6. Mine too! She's happy that I don't drink, smoke or run around with wild women. She always knows where I am on Friday and Saturday nights!!
  7. Well, the decals are in place and cleared. All I need to do now is a little polishing and final assembly. Here are a few mach-up pics while the paint dries: Regards,
  8. Yep, those are all really nice, too!!
  9. Another great collection of models!!
  10. Thaose are all really nice!!
  11. Yep, that's a very nice, clean build!! The white looks great!!
  12. It must have been the meds I was on the last time that I went onto the LHS! The FXX was calling me, though I'm not sure what it was calling me. To tell the truth, I wasn't thinking about having to deal with carbon fiber decals when I bought it, or I might not have... No, it won't be ready by the NNL West. I probably won't even have time to start it by then. I've still got the 43 Willys gasser pickup and the 58 Impala to finish first. Avatar, what avatar?
  13. Open the window?? I'll have to try that...
  14. My stuff is junk too, Milt!! It just looks better in the pictures!! Really, please bring what you've built. Only the arrogant turds will turn their noses up at your work, and they’re not the people that we want to talk to anyway. Remember, we all started building models with the same skill set, dazed and confused!
  15. Come on, Milt...you've got to bring a build or two...
  16. EVIL, WICKED, MEAN and NASTY!! You should be very proud!! All of the weathering and the weld lines around the chop look GREAT!! The suicide shifter screams "I'm dangerous!! Get the ____ out of my way!!". Nice job on the velocity stacks!! The exhaust looks like it was made from old steel drain pipe!! Too freakin' cool!! Yes, I see the hose clamps, the bailing wire holding on the license plate and of course the cowl steering setup!! You'll get a lot of looks and comments on that one at the model shows!! The whole thing just screams RAT!!
  17. The engine is looking pretty good, Gray!! You made the right decision to rework the stacks. They look GREAT!!
  18. Very nice, traditional look!! How about some engine and chassis pics!!
  19. The BMF looks pretty good in the pics. Did you use a soft piece of balsa wood to burnish it down after you trimmed it? That always helps with the finished look and the shine. Regards,
  20. Hey Dave, that's not fair posting pictures of a 1:1 build on a model builder's forum! All I can say is WOW!!!
  21. That's coming along very nicely, Bud!!
  22. Oh...and welcome to the forum!! Yes, of all the ones I've seen out there, this is the place to be. Regards,
  23. WOW!! Excellent workmanship, craftsmanship and dare I say "attention to detail"!! That's a pice to truly be proud of!! Let me know when you get tired of that one. I've already made room for it in my display case!! Regards,
  24. Oh yeah!! One of my favorite colors on one of my favorite MOPARs!! The chassis details are looking really good!!
  25. Pretty cool car, Marcus! Do you have any in-progress pics yet?
