  1. I've got to agree with Gray on this one!! It just keeps getting better as you continue to work on it!!
  2. Very nice build, KDog!! No chute? (Maybe it just really good brakes! )
  3. Excellent work, Don!! The color, decals, BMF and all of the details look great!! Regards,
  4. Randy, I'm glad to see that you changed your avatar over to the 58 Pontiac!! Does that also mean that the model is in the mail and headed my way?!
  5. Very nice, Chris!! I really like the look. Can we get a chassis shot??
  6. Very nice build, Antonio!! Did you also use the clearcoat, or is that just the color coat?

    36 Chevy

Very nice build, James!! That's how they look BEFORE they get to the track!!
  8. Excellent, Peter!! Let me know when you get tired of it. I've already made room for it in my collection of Vettes!!
  9. Very nice saves!!
  10. Weathering is an interesting art in its own right, Jonathon. Most people that try it for the first time tend to over do it. Usually by the time a car would have been out in a field for as long as the weathering implies, there wouldn't be much more than a rusted hulk left rotting in the sun, not a complete car with a fully intact interior. You did well to weather it enough to fit into your storyline without overdoing it. Keep up the good work,
  11. Very nice build, Dave!! The paint, detail and decal work all look great!!
  12. That's coming along nicely, Rollin!! I use the same method for my hinges, except I use the aluminum tubing instead of the copper. It cuts a lot easier. Keep building and posting!!
  13. Chris, Where's the picture?
  14. Very nice custom, Dave!!
  15. Not that is the rolling definition of DANGEROUS!! It absolutely has to have a "Get in, sit down, shut up and hang on" license plate frame on it to make it complete!!
  16. You just gotta love the Plum Crazy color on those old MOPARs!!
  17. Very nice, Jonathan!! I really like the wear marks on the seat and the "flow through" ventilation in the firewall!! The weathered frame looks really good, too!! Too bad we can't add soundtracks to our posts...I can almost hear this one running down the road with an occasional misfire from the old V8 in desperate need of a tune-up!! So, what's next?!
  18. Andy, You did a prety nice job building that kit with very little to work with!! I remember being driven around Japan in the stock version of those cars. Regards,
  19. Clay, Where are you that the humidy is too high to use HOK paint?
  20. I can't wait to see that one painted and built!! All of the designs look really good!!
  21. Another nice build, Raisin!! That must look pretty cool sitting next to your SuperFly Mustang II!! How about a side-by-side photo!!
  22. Mike, The dash and the interior panels are looking really good. Here's on small tip for you, (if you don't already know this one); try using BMF to mask your paint lines for the fine details on your body and interior parts. If you burnish it down real good with a piece of balsa wood before and after you cut it, you can get a PERFECTLY clean edge. Take a look at this example of masking with BMF for use with Testors spray can lacquer. Here's a side shot of the body. Here's a closeup of the door. You can get a perfect line every time, but like I said, you have to burnish it really good before and after you cut it. Good luck,
  23. You just gotta love those old birds with the big wings!!
  24. Looks pretty good, Simon!! If you're interested, I've got several spare sets of the Goodyear Eagle VR50s. Send me a PM to discuss getting them across the pond as cheaply as possible. Regards,
  25. Nice work so far, Rollin!! Keep us posted on your progress,
