    CRUDD

    Crudilicious!!
  2. Very nice build, Brian!! That's one of my favorite of the early muscle cars!! Thanks for sharing,
  3. Way too cool!! I hope that you make it up to the NNL West in Santa Clara next year!! Thanks for sharing!!
  4. Clay, my young friend: 1) Great idea!! That's exactly what I am going to propose to Gregg. 2) You are not allowed to buy one of my models. If you want another one that bad, I'll send it to you. How's the family doing? I hope that all is well. Everything is going really well on my end. Later,
  5. No...I actually don't have the time to attend either show. Between work, wife, kids, cars, guitars, trying to select/buy a new acoustic guitar amplifier...I don't even have much time for building models. I'll send you a PM with a suggestion of how we can sell one of the models with a few pics after I get home this evening. Later,
  6. OK...I understand. I'll commit this: 1) If I win the jacket for less than the asking price of $110, I'll send you the difference. 2) Once I remember how, I'll renew my subscription for 2 years... 3) The offer to sell one of my builds to support your efforts still stands. Alternatively, if you think that my builds aren't worth the $ that I spent to build them, I’ll offer up one of my Danbury Mint pieces of your choice…just not one of my limited edition pieces that I want to keep. In closing, I fully appreciate the energy and effort you put into supporting our hobby, and I’m willing to show my appreciation by supporting your efforts with a little $$ Later,
  7. That's OK...I want the jacket AND I can bid pretty high! (See, that's me looking really cool wearing my new MCM 2XL jacket). (And I haven't renewed my subscription for over a year...) So that's my shameless plug to match Gregg's! So, how much is a table at the IPMS Nationals? I've also been known by many people on this forum to be very charitable for the right cause... To that end, I'll offer up any one of my builds, (Gregg's choice), to be sold in support of this event. I will need help from my buddy Curt Raitz, (or his elves), in getting it packed for shipment... Later,
  8. OK...who outbid me? Who out there is big enough to wear a 2XL jacket? Gregg, I think that to keep this from getting ugly that you need to add a 2 year subscription to the go along with the jacket!! Later,
  9. Elves!! Lots of elves!! It's the only answer that makes any sense!! Looking good, Curt!!
  10. Now all you need to do is PhotoShop yourself into the driver's seat!! Cool little ride, Bernard!! Later,
  11. Bernard, If you cut down the windshield, you could go with a small set of headrests without being too obnoxiously large or custom... Later,
  12. Looking good, Steve!! Is the body going to be the same color as the engine?
  13. Since you asked...here's the two thing's I'd consider: 1) Remove about 25 to 30% of the bottom edge of the windshield; 2) Add a small set of dual humps/headrests behind the seats that extend back and fade into the trunk. But only because you asked! Keep up the GREAT work!! Later,
  14. Very nice work, Charles!! Those bubble top cars are just too cool!! Thanks for sharing,
  15. Bernard, It looks like you're developing quite a collection of parts box goodies to select from all on your own!! My good friends at Cal-Surplus may have to swing by your place to see if there's anything they need for the store! The old digger looks pretty cool!! I have really got to get back to building...while you and Curt have been building up a storm, I don't think I've finished anything yet this year... Keep up the good work!! Later,
  16. I finally got a copy of the new MCM and had a chance to read Cranky's article. That's some really cool stuff, Virgil!! I also build SF3D stuff, both from the box, (because it's so cool on its own), and some modified pieces. I may try building a post WWIII car. It looks like a lot of fun!! Thanks for sharing,
  17. The chassis is looking good, Bernard!! That reminds me, I need to get the old dirt track racer I built several years ago back from my friend to get a few pics... Anyway, I made the numbers for it from thin strips of masking tape. They looked rough and crude, just the way a backyard racer would have done it back then... Later,
  18. WOW!!! I wish that I had the time to take this approach to model building!! You truly are a craftsman, sir.
  19. Yeah...but remember, I only build in one of two speeds, slow progress and no progress. Besides, mine is just a side project while the paint cures on my two other builds. Later,
  20. Sketches?! I like sketches! Do you have a scanner, or did you do them in PhotoShop? I've got the basecoat of paint on the bottom of my Stude. I still need to finish the body mods before it gets primed and painted...
  21. The level of detail and realism n your models always amazes me!! Another GREAT model!! Thanks for sharing,
  22. Cool dragster, Bernard!! The Caddy engine fits in there nicely!! Isn't it about time for some updated pics of the Stude? Later,
  23. Very nice, Brian!! That red paint realy shines!! Later,
