  1. Thanks, guys! I meant to get a couple of pics of the two cars together over the weekend, but holiday stuff prevented it until today:
  2. Nice work!
  3. Nice work, and a great idea using the AMT chassis - I'm going to have to remember this!
  4. Awesome work, that looks great!
  5. Some exceptionally clean work here, nice job!
  6. I think you've done some very nice work here; it's a great looking scene, and I can't think of anything to add that hasn't already been said. Great job!
  7. I saw there's a blue version, but I was still hoping for another off-white (or two). There's a place in North Yorkshire called Jaunty Jalopies Collectables that claims to have a bunch, but their e-mail address is no good and they've blocked contact through eBay messaging.
  8. Thanks, guys!
  9. Just wrapped this up, made from an '84 Corvette promo with Monogram wheels and custom stripes and plates that I drew up in Illustrator.
  10. I always loved this era of Oldsmobiles. Very nice work, that looks great!
  11. Awesome work, that looks great!
  12. The kit seems to be a combination of features from the various cars used on the show and movie. The "high stripe" is accurate for the pilot episode, but the pilot car also had chrome mirrors and side molding:
  13. Beautiful work, that looks great!
  14. Very nice, that's looking great. Can't wait to see it "in scene!"
  15. Thanks, guys!
  16. Thanks, guys! I am still seeing if I can do something about the rear tires without too much drama, if I can I'll add some updated pics. It's a decal I drew up in Illustrator and printed onto clear stock, applied directly over the BMF
  17. Beautiful work, what color is that?
  18. Thanks, guys!
  19. Thanks! Nothing too fancy: red primer and semi-gloss clearcoat. I think it was Rustoleum primer, but may have been Duplicolor...I tried both and used the one that looked closer to the 1:1's color.
  20. Very cool!
  21. Nice clean work, that looks great!
  22. Thanks! Yeah; I wish I had used some bigger diameter rears, but I didn't want to use slicks or a modern design and Revell's '29 Ford didn't come out until after I had everything glued together and too fragile to pop apart without likely breaking things. I may try to change them in the future, but for now I'm not willing to risk it. The valve covers were from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland, currently the only source for the vintage curved-script design.
  23. Very cool, I like that new radiator placement!
