I can guarantee my Dart was NO WHERE as nice looking as this one is. Mine was a completely stock, base model with mud colored paint. The girls really were impressed.
I'd love to see modern kits of two of the most beautiful cars ever made (in my opinion, which is the only one which counts).
The Continental MK2 and the hardtop Cord. I guess no one would be interested in my first car, a 64 Dodge Dart slow motion special.

My only "senior" problems seem to be eyesight (thank God for magnifiers), and sometimes I plan something for a build and forget about until it's too late.
Oh, we're big time now. Edgewood has it's first "high rise", a 4 story Comfort Inn, a Wal-Mart , Dennys, and a stop light. The traffic is horrible, I had to wait for three cars to pass before I could get off my street.
I'm kinda obsessive about building correct scale items on my models...plug wires, hoses, etc.
It seems to me that most metallic or metal flake paint jobs on 24th scale models come out looking like the metal flakes are about a half scale inch (or so) . Just doesn't look realistic to me. Or......am I just being difficult?
I've been lurking for about a month or so and decided to join the board. So...here I am.
I like to build older cars, hot rods, stuff from the 30s, 40s, and 50s etc. as well as muscle cars usually in 24th scale.
