  8. Heres a link to the photos from the show Saturday. We had a good show wish more models had been there But it was still a good show. http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y184/Tabsscale/KAMS%20Contest%202011/#!cpZZ8QQtppZZ16
  9. Cool at least you are building! As soon as i get my Daughters car done i will start building again I hope!
  10. You could also get some evergreen hex rod and make your own from that.
  11. Been working on this for the last 10 months I think.Went through the whole body. Only could work on it when i wasn't working. I am on the home stretch now so i can get back to building models soon!
  12. Cool Ron It is getting closer to the date Hope it turns out well
  13. Well so far we have over 27 vendor tables sold. Looks like that part is going to turn out
  14. You can try this site for different things to print like cereal boxes and pizza boxes They have a lot of different things. http://www.printmini.com/printables/ph.shtml
  15. Heard they were going to keep they website going just don't know what he was going to do about shows
  16. I have used their clear that has to be mixed with lacquer thinner but not their premixed. I loved the clear I have used their pearls many times and like them as well.
  17. You can check this site out for them as well I can't see the pic of the model but he does have some of the Ferrari kits on there. You can just print then off from the site. http://www.thedpmcc.com/revell.html
  18. I doubt it was a bad production run as i heve tried several different cans over the years and get the same results. Testors new lacquer paints work better for me/ Of course I hardly ever use any thing out of the can always spray it into my6 airbrush bottle and use my airbrush. For the price of Tamiya paints i'll just go to an autoparts store and get a bigger can of Duplicolor paint . Those spray better than any hobbie paints and I do spray them from the can.
  19. I have had that problem with every can i have used . That is why I don't use the paint any more. Haven't bought a can of their paint since. Seems like a waste of money to buy their paint. I have better luck with Walmarts paint.
  20. Here is one car I drive but at this time I am redoing it since my daughter wrecked it. Haven't done any modeling since I startedworking on it. Will be painting it tomorrow and hopefully get the ghost plame masked off sometime this week. then paint them and clear the whole car next week. the link has all the pictures of the body work. http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y184/Tabsscale/Ambers%20car/
  21. Something must be working for some sellears as i can remember when there were only 10 kits listed in the model section and i see today there is almost 51000 kits listed and last week i know i there was only 41000 kits listed on a the day i checked. Yes the shipping is getting outrageous and some of the kit prices are as well.
  22. But when the nearest good hobby shop is 140 miles away shipping is cheaper than driving that distance
  23. Here are the rules we use for our contest. these work out great and if you don't have the instructions it has to be in another class. OUT OF BOX Models must be displayed with the instruction sheet and must be built with parts supplied in the kit. No parts should be left off unless listed as an option in the instructions. Removal of parting lines, filling sink marks and holes, rechroming of parts are allowed. Design flaws may not be corrected. Carpet materials, decals and foil from any source may be used.
