Superb work so far.....

I really didn't enjoy building the 911 I built, but the 356 was a cracking kit to build, looking forward to starting this one.

Spotted by a good friend of mine in Japan, I did have this kit many years ago, along with other Fujimi Porsche kits, I sold them all to a friend of mine who only builds Porsche kits, I kind of regret selling this one after building the convertible version, hopefully I'll have it soon, they usually go for silly money, it cost me just over 4000 yen, around £28.

Superb build, love the colour scheme....

Very nice build....

Superb build, having what was called a Monotone paint finish was an option at the factory, so having the roof painted body colour is correct

Another superb build.....

The letter was sent direct from the bank (HSBC), why I had forgotten about the account i just can't think.

Getting a letter off a bank in reference to an account i had forgotten about and hadn't used for over 14 years, telling me I've still got money in the account (quite a bit as well) and need to get in touch before the account goes dormant, I'll be on the phone Monday morning.....

Fully agree with putting it on really wet, it does shrink and dried up perfectly, then leave it at least a day or so before handling, the supercharger intake was done with the liquid pen, so was the front overiders and headlamp rims on the porsche, use it properly and you'll be pleased with the results

I'm pretty sure Creative models here in the U.K.are clearing their stock of Testors enamel paints, (the tops were covered in a layer of dust) It's the only place I know of over here that sells them, most of these were 91p, some were a little more, although most of the colours I bought are military/aviation colours, they come in very handy for car modelling, I've been told the Euro dark green is a pretty good match for the green used on Oldsmobile engines.

After reading a few reviews, I bought this kit a couple of weeks ago, after seeing your build, I'm glad I bought it now, I'm going to be painting mine in Cascade green with beige side coves.

I haven't sold on eBay for a few years now, not that i had any problems, but with eBay fees, and you're forced to use PayPal as a payment option, you're charged PayPal fees on top of the eBay fees, are you on Facebook ? Last time i had a clean out of the stash earlier this year, I listed them on Facebook marketplace and also joined a few groups on Facebook set up to buy and sell plastic kits, works a lot cheaper in the long run.

Superb build, is this the AMT or Monogram version ??

Thanks Al, although I've got nothing going on here in the "On the Workbench" I've been busy in the background building Revell's 58 Corvette for Scale Modelling Now magazine...

Had it arrived today, should have had it on Wednesday, but I was out when the post office tried to deliver it, as it needed signing for, I had to arrange a re-delivery, there's a lot of plastic in the box, I might buy the photo etch detail set for it when I order the paint from MCW lacquers.

If you could only choose ONE photo of any of your builds, wich would it be?
