Throwing in the towel. Need some adviceGeeBee replied to Project510's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars) I did the same back in the late 1990's, due to a house move and a new business venture, I knew I just wouldn't have anytime for building model, or anywhere to build them or even store them, but I kept all my tools and find\jars of paints, luckily I got back into the hobby around 15 years ago..

Chevrolet engine grey paintGeeBee replied to GeeBee's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers Thanks Joe, it's much easier for me to get Humbrol paints this side of the pond.

Is there anything close to Chevrolet engine grey from Testors or anything else close from other model pajnts, or is it just a matter of mixing something up that's going to be a close match ?

It seems Gravity colours in the U.S were originally the distributor for the original Gravity Colours based in Spain, and are using the brand name without permission from https://gravity-colors.com I prefer to deal with Michael Guest at MCW lacquers, I'll have my order in around 3-4 days, https://mcwfinishes.com/ his paints are just superb.

What did you see on the road today?GeeBee replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars) Yes, I know it wasn't on the road, but it's not the usual kind of boat you spot on the Stratford upon Avon canal, it's a lifeboat from the Kittiwake North sea oil platform, it's been converted into a houseboat.
