this cab is the oldest piece of model i still have. it was cut up and put back together many time before it became this back in the mide 70s. old bad pick of it with an arizona highways mag backround
-
quick conversion, fiat body fits almost purfect on a 34 ford small revell fender and chassie assembly. worked its interior in to it also
-
this build was the 36 ford coupe fenders and front an lower body, with the rear and roof from the vantastic which had to be made longer to fit. this build was almost done but didnt paint the headlight buckets and hood. it got put back in box for another day when i decided on another color combination and finished it. oh ya the part of the vantastic was combined with a chopped 40 ford pickup for a 38 ford custom pickup
-
so i just got back from grand national car show ( a Maze ing) lets see now, i combined a 58 edsel kit and a chopped 57 ford rancharo, hardest part was making the tail lights, then few years later i got a edsel wagon and it had them, but that was too late. also a 59 retractable and a 57 ford, (still a project). and the 57 chevy nomad rat i found a pick of, i guess then it came out in a resin. i used part of a modified chassie kit under it. (still a project).

thanx guys, nice 58 marcel, chevy should have kept making the nomad cuz that looks slick
-
i got the b400 on ebay dont know maker i painted it just like a real one, pic i saw i also really like the b400
-
this is a orange create body on stacy kit, then the b400 resin body, my for door conversion, then "da bus" this is still a project, diecast front of a truck i think it was, the bus body i found in the alley taking trash out on day (musta dropped outta the sky) the bus body has been through it, i put a 60 chevy truck front, shortened it twice but didnt like it. was fun making the bus fit the windsheild frame of the truck

very clean look with the light blue, nice job

putting those decals on would freek me out. dont see many decals on my builds. specially old build. long time ago i built the 1/8 78 corvette pace car, decals and a pinstrip. cleared it to protect and the paint under the decals clear was different. shyed away from then on, dont clear coat either -
resins can be challenging, with soaking to clean, files, trimming, sometimes just a body. but they are different, and im all about different, and they can be rewarding for you also. enjoy alot of the resins were from star model, and r&r, ebay

ive gotten into some promos over the years. the warp can be nasty on some. this is the way ive repaired some ive put into collection. some people talk about heat and such which i havnt had luck with. i had a rambler wagon on shelf that was the kit so i made this promo into the 4 door car. gluing cracks, you have to put a backer for suport.

this was from a monogram 27 mack stake truck, tankard directions used for guidence of somebody elses ideas. (i liked that line, thanx) extra parts were a bag of misc 1/20th scale parts i picked up someware. maybe a hardhat t bucket or something. left the chain drive for look. just alittle somethin different. built 4/26/16
-
this was that big box caddy, multi piece body. cut up some 55 chevy nomad roofs to come up with something big enough to cover rear portion. alternomad interior, chezoom chassie
-
skirts and cont stuff were parts box, sorry
