  1. to start, i dont do, or have ever done or tried drugs. but this looks like a last night acid trip. was lookin at a diablo thinking what could i do with this rear engine car in my collection of 1960 and older. when i went to bed 8/23/2020 at 230 this morn this is what i left sitting on my bench. hoping it comes around after some sanding and a coat of primer. thanx for your curiosity. i might lower the wind sheild a little now that i look this evening.
  2. finished the bed, sanding. colored french blue, just didnt feel it so colored it star spangled blue and gunmetal metallic.
  3. 57 chrysler kit, cut roof and deck lid to make a comino hauler. never liked the headlights on this car so i changed them to 58 chevy headlights. inner bed could maybe be from a mid 60s comino kit but mine was a bit nasty so might try making my own.
  4. very creative. really like the loow look. i did a 57 bel air little while back that some may have thought was chezoom roof, but it had a o7 camaro roof. had a start on a 57 chrysler thats boxed for now. the decal down the side on that orange really sets it off. love the piece of goat also, nice look, nice job.

very impressive, great to see the hobby will be in some very talented hands. enjoy your builds, build them the way you see them and as involved as your adventure and curiosity will take you. im 61 and started at 7 with 32nd scale glue bombs. but ive enjoyed the trip. still have some builds from when i was 10, 12ish it keeps you mind active and helps with patients which never hurts all through life. nice job young man, keep up the great work
  6. beautiful very well done paint is awesome from top to bottom
  7. 58 chevy panel wagon resin i picked up. wanted to cast the roof. also was going to build it, found a pic of a wagon i really liked, so decided to go that route. used revell impala, because i had one. it has a trunk area so it worked for back of wagon. the back seat in impale is different so i cast the back of front seat to use. theres a speaker piece so i used it behind back seat. was going to do blower, but liked the clean hood look. thanx
  8. so theres a speaker deck in the kit, not on plan, used it behind the back seat facing back. just getting some base colors on. used kit motor short block with exhaust but put a blower on it. still deciding on it, cuz cutting hole in hood. 34 is getting main coated and sitting on own axles. took your advice and found some volvo tractor wheels from a bag kit i picked up for parts. thanx
  9. more filling and fileing, put molding details all around, frame, need to figure out axles, cowl is now attached along with rear fenders and front fenders.
  10. so this got started june 19, but this weekend the 26th i messed with the bus. the wagon was a panel wagon that i cut the panels out of. didnt have a amt 58 so i checked out the revell version i had. looked like its close on lining up and it has a trunk detail that might help. the back seat for impala is cool but wrong, so i casted the top of the front seat to use for back. then i got side tracked for a bit. will be back

  12. ive had theses pics for awhile. finally started drawing and cuttin.
  13. this was a built kit molded in black and painted lime when i got it. after a purple bath, the paint didnt really come off. any body that knows of me, i like different. had a pic i came across for some insparation. chopped it, moved the rearend back so more of the back door was there for getting in back seat. used cut off pieces from opposite sides to reconstruct woody framing and cast a small piece of curve to finish the curve. first thought fenderless but back wells were so huge, tire gets lost, fenders big too, but not as big. was going to go black walls but tried some white walls and had my interest, then, the modelhause big n littles white walls and i smiled. thanx, enjoy built 6/20/20

  15. this started as a 47 merc pickup cab that i wanted to convert to a ford. i told the guy of this project, in the box extra was this ford cab also. but it had a narrow hood area. cut the two in half and cut hood from body once i got everything lined up. 50 ford bed and runningboards, chassis and interior, rear fenders are 40 ford, 40 ford car dash , prostock motor from parts bin.
  16. very nice, creative conversion, clean and natural looking, good color, very clean
  17. really hard to forget your first big deuce, conversions
  18. really nice look, just enough altering to really add to the appearence. nice rod
  19. i picked this resin 51 nash panel wagon up on ebay back in 8/16. it was basic moreless a body kit with a 1 piece solid chassie to hold axles and tires and wheels. was always thinking a street rod, but this thing just begged for the nasty treatment. the vet kit allowed me to keep the hood solid and still get nasty under the hood. whole chassis and interior panels were from a corvette pro street kit #7157 . thanx built 6/1/20
  20. i like different. when i got a 47 mercury pickup resin cab my first thought could i make a ford with it. i already built the merc pickup, so i dicided to get another to try it. i think i had mentioned what i was thinking of doing to the guy. i got about 6 bodies from this guy this time, in the box was this extra cab. im thinking maybe it was a tractor cab being so narrow, dont know, but heres what i did, heres were im at. cut the 2 in half and swapped fronts. the 47 had the 40 rear fenders but i really thought about using the 50 fenders.
  21. amazing build, so clean, crisp, looks real, color, and mix in interior look very realistic, great choose. awesome job of building
  22. amt 33 willys coupe kit, 32 ford phantom vickie. vickie: the chassis is complete, floor, seat, dash, door panels were shortened little and trimed for back of coupe roof. the willys motor pins lined right up. just shorten. built 5/19/2020
  23. amt 40 ford sedan deli, been chopped and channeled
  24. Thanx all, for the encouragment, was a fun conversion. middle roof reminded me of the 007 aston martin a bit.
