Hmm, I guess I'm mistaken. I was going by my personal experience. I had a 70 Mustang Grande and it didn't have the roof mounted seat belts. I now have a pile of junk project car that used to be a 70 Mach 1 that doesn't have them either. But it also doesn't have a headliner or much else. So I stand corrected.

the shoulder harness mounted to the roof like that was on a 69 Mustang, but not a 70.

I will look into that on the next one, I have several of these in line. -
Just finished up this Tamiya GT4 Mustang kit in Number 5 Acid Yellow paint and Blue Stuff decals. Sure wish this kit wasn't curbside.

Proper Scale for Details
Dr Cobra replied to mcs1056's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
A good way to go with pre-wired distributors is one from ConnKur Model Accessories. They are the most realistic looking distributors out there, many colors of wire and caps also. -

70 Shelbys were left over 69s. Ford added hood stripes and a front spoiler.

I was at Foxtoberfest and didn't see a model show. Where was this located ? -

plexiglass isn't legal because it will break into sharp pieces. You can use Lexan polycarbonate for windows though. It can be bent 90 degrees without breaking.

reminds me of Mike Moran's Pinto

Just finished the Profil24 kit of the Ford P68 from Nürburgring 1968. This is the first resin kit I've worked on and it's a little different to build.

Very cool idea and nice work ! Did any of the cars of this type have a soft top for the driver, or did Alfred have to get wet ?

distributor is where the upper radiator hose should be

some of the differences are passenger seat is non-adjustable, carpet only cover bottom of floors, inside of rockers that carpet normally covers is covered in vinyl, the front of hood above the little vents beside the headlights isn't rolled under like later hoods. it sticks down about 3/8" of so. I'm sure there are other little details i've forgotten. Also most cars won't have all the 64.5 details, the later in production as they ran out of parts, 65 parts were used.

Love it !! I remember going to the drag strip in Greer, SC and seeing a very similar Pinto wagon with a SBF and a Lenco.
