  1. This is fantastic. What a wonderful build. Love both the diorama and the car.
  2. What a beautiful paint job Tom. I wish I had the imagination like you and others have as far as building.
  3. That's a resin? I wouldn't have known.

    Give aways

I think the people you are giving these to would love them. Nice job.
  5. Randy. Really nice. The color combo is right on if you ask me.
  6. That is awesome. Looks really mean.
  7. Cool. Really like the way it sits.
  8. Really nice and great color combo.
  9. That is stunning. Love the color.
  10. Thank you guys. The paint job isn't the best. But you can see I have quite a few of the Chryslers. LOL. Chris. The diorama is made out of foam core that you can get an almost any artist store or a place like Michael's or hobby lobby. A friend of mine who is an artist did the cement block walls. But I'm thinking printing out the brick work after you size it to what you want. Then spraying an adhesive on the paper and applying it to the foam core. That would work. But there are much better dioramas in the forum than mine. LOL
  11. A wonderful forum with wonderful members. You'll enjoy it here Michal.
  12. Welcome to the club and you have a beautiful build here.
  13. They all look great.
  14. Beautiful
  15. I had a 1960 Ford with the 292 cu in it that started skipping. Pulled the valve covers and found one push rod that seemed to not be where it should be. I put the push rod back in place. Adjusted the valves and she ran fine until her floors gave out and my girl friend skinned her toes on the pavement. Wish that was all your truck needed.
  16. Bill. She’s lucky to have you as a friend. ?
  17. Oh Joe. Be here when I leave this world because nobody in my family has a clue. To them it's all junk. LOL!. I slowed on my building because I was having paint issues and I was trying to build higher than my ability. So buying stuff took it's place. Now my mind set is. Most people I know not in the hobby think they look fantastic. While others in the hobby would be critical. So I realize I can build them and if there are a few specks of dust in the paint. So be it. They will all be sold in a garage/estate sale when I'm gone. But I know one of the local guy's father in law collects 1/18 die cast. If he wants them. I'll charge him what I paid as selling them on line and mailing them. The postage would be outrageous. If he doesn't. Then I have them. Let the relatives deal with them when I'm gone. LOL.
  18. LOL! No Joe. But I'd love to. I know. I just can't pass up a deal. Next year I go on Medicare so my monthly income will drop. Not that I get a lot now. I'm just frugal. Plus I have a nephew who is 2 and a half months old. My niece says he's showing an interest in cars so you never know. Why. Did you want something? And like the Hobby Lobby buys. I have a couple of builder near me who miss these sale or don't have the money at that time. So I sell it to them for what I paid when they can afford it.
  19. They should be really fun to read through.
  20. Thanks Carl. I don't know what I'll do with the big die cast. The woman was so sweet I had to buy them but I don't usually. I have a 1/18 1964 Ford Galaxy only because I actually owned one. The Mustang 2. I think I'll paint the interior and just put it back together.
