  1. Picked this taxi up at my Rite Aid drug store that is currently being changed to a Walgreens. 70% off. So for $2.99 it will be a great car for my great nephew to play with when he comes to visit. The Rite Aid in the next town hasn't started to be converted so I'll have to watch for when that happens.
  2. very cool
  3. Make a real nice convertible.
  4. I wonder if they would tell you the kits are marked down. Might depend on who answered the phone at the store you’re calling.
  5. Beautiful build Randy.
  6. Awesome idea.
  7. Really very nice. I love the color.
  8. That is really nice. Nice model concept.
  9. I drove to Latham, NY today. No clearance kits on the shelves or in the clearance section.I didn't even see a Charger kit there. But I did noticed they are bringing in a lot more die cast kits. I wonder if it's going to have something with the glue. Like what Toys R Us did.
  10. They have them on their website but not in the clearance section. And the new stuff listed on the site is all die cast and that stuff is taking space from the model cars and such. Maybe they are getting out of the model business?
  11. I have to say I haven’t seen these kits at my HL at any time. Michael’s yes. Might have to take a ride this week.
  12. I agree Tom. Amazing work.
  13. Oh that is beautiful Eric. I don’t share anymore. Hands too shaky and eyes not that good but good enough to see a beautiful build. ?
  14. Beautiful blend with the custom parts Michal.
  15. That is beautiful Eric. I don’t think I could show mine now. Lol
  16. Thank you Guido. At first I thought it would be a hood for an MPC Camero but it didn’t fit.
  17. Picked up 2 boxes of stuff. One box had the 55 Chevy Pro Sportsman which seems to have everything but the body. The other box had miscellaneous parts. Does anyone know what the hood goes too?
  18. Very nice. I've never seen one of these before.
  19. This came out really nice Howard. Nice details.
  20. That is fantastic Tom. I love the dog house and how you can look inside through the top.
  21. Went to two flea markets today. Saw 2 screw bottom annuals. And Edsel and an El Camino. But they were only the bodies and chassis and they were trashed. I mean really trashed. Windshield frames busted. Parts of the fenders missing. no chrome parts what so ever. Heavily glued and painted. I passed on those. But I did pick up this stuff today. The AMT 67 pickup box was missing body parts. But it had everything I needed for my MPC 70 pickup. Plus it had 6 whitewalls. The whitewalls were worth the $5 to me alone. Always looking for these whitewalls. The odd thing is even though the boxes are branded differently. One being an AMT and the other a MPC. They are identical kits. The chassis are the same. Everything fits each other. So I have the option of building the model as a Pickup. A wrecker. Or a service truck. Or Custom. And I think I have 1 or 2 custom grills in my stash not knowing what they went to. The GTX is complete and unopened inside. At $10. Why not. But the 69 AMT Super Stocker. They wanted $45 and I got them down to $30. I don't know if that was a good deal or not. And Keith, Looks like we both made out with our pickups today.
  22. What would happen if you put a black sharpie along the very edge. Would that radiate into the edge of the clear plastic to give the same look?
