Nice. Are they big?

I was looking at it today and it seems you can take a tab of the plastic frame unit off and it lines up pretty well. On that tab are two spacers that you's need to remove and put where the screws hole are to give it the proper stance. No biggie really.

I know the woman who took care of the model section of Hobby Lobby in Latham said they had a lot of problems with people opening the kits and taking parts out. They were going to install security cameras because of this problem. Sad that this is an issue. I understand she left though. Might be the reason they are bringing more diecast kits in. I also noticed the diecast kits they are bringing in show no glue needed to build.

Yes! If you collect Johnny Lightning and Auto World diecast. A really great selection at both stores. We might have passed each other in the store! Too funny. I did spot the GTO. But save your money. The body and chassis do not line up. And if you position the axles to line up with the wheel opening. The chassis sticks way out the back of the body and I don't know if the motor area will work. Might have to turn it into a diorama wreak. LOL.

Went to the 2 closest Hobby Lobbys today because I was checking the 2 Local Ollie's store for their model sale. No mark downs at either Hobby Lobby store. And I did get a GTO at Ollies but it's a mess. Wish I didn't waste the $10. Nothing lines up with the chassis and body.

Yep. I opened mine after reading you post and nothing seems to line up. I wonder if the chassis mold was for another kit. Seeing I'm not a master builder it will most like be a curbside build if anything.

If the other 2 cans are just as bad. I don't think I'll be buying them anymore. At $25 plus tax a pop. That's quite a chunk out of my monthly Social Security check which will be even less after next March seeing I have to pay for Medicare. Might have to just stick to what ever paint the hobby stores have. Won't be any light green metallic cars as I've never seen them in the auto parts or hobby stores.

Out of 2 Ollies stores. Colonie and Glens Falls and I only found 1 auto kit. The GTO. Was hoping for the 1950 ford they showed in the flyer. But lots of planes and boats if that's what you are looking for.

Got this today. Only auto kit there besides planes and ships. Molded in orange. Edit - Save your money. Nothing lines up. The chassis is too long and the screw holes don't line up. Not a great kit. But I got some nice mags out of it.

I ordered 3 different greens that day because I never see light green metallic paint. But they called me back saying one I ordered would need a clear coat and they couldn’t put that color in a spray can. I told the manager who waited on me to order one that was close. But maybe it’s miss labeled. Theses were paints they had to mix for me. You couldn’t buy it off the shelf. Kind of upsetting if it was mixed wrong as it will be my word against theirs. It was spraying really thin and pooling Steve. I haven’t tried the other two yet.
