I've bought some kits that were opened. Started and missing parts. But there are some parts that don't belong in the kit. How do you figure out what kit they actually belong to? I've tried searching the number that is on the sprew but that didn't help. If someone is looking for a part I might have. I wouldn't know it.

Hear. you Snake. I'll learn airbrushing with new paints and save the old ones for special kits. -

Wow. Who would have thought their would be collectors of old Testors paints. I just picked them up at a garage because there was some cool old metallics. I was planning on learning to air brush with them. -
They are both nicely done.

Nice.

OK. Thanks. I was going to make plastic axels for another kit. Odd thing is. The hole you would stick the axel into the wheel is larger than where the axel goes trough the chassis. I guess I can just drill it out and make them larger.

Enamel Testor's paint.

Some have the pigments on the bottom and the thick thinner above. I'm going to play with them and see what happens. Do you add more thinner to dilute them a bit? Thanks Snake. -
I bought a bunch of old Testor's paint at a garage sale a while back. Some of the bottle tops are imprinted with 20 cent's, 30 cents. So I was going through them and noticed some are separated and the thinner looks a bit thick. Can they be resurrected or should I through them out. There are some neat metallics and such there. Thanks. :-)

Mufflers on them noisey 4 bangers ?
ewetwo replied to rel14's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
They are all over where I live. Usually old Ford Rangers or S10s. My brother has a 2005 mustang convertable he bought brand new. In the summer he drives it to work. The young guys at where he works are like "why don't you put some killer mufflers on that thing". My brother's response. "Now why would I want to draw attention to myself". He's right. :-) -
Unfortunately my closest shop is over 50 miles away. And it's Hobby Lobby. I don't know if they carry them.

I never thought of that. It should work. The only axels were the metals one. There was one plastic piece that was in the kit that looked like it would work. I think it was to hold the hood up. But coat hangers. Thank you.

Current project. I'll have to go with the mag wheels. But I ran into a snag. The metal axels only stick out about an eight of an inch from the body. Not enough to keep the wheels on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :-)

I called SC Johnson and this is the new Future. Pledge Revive It Floor Gloss. So I went out to find it and after 7 stores .I found it at the 2nd Walmart I went to. 4 hours looking for this. They said it's the same ingredients as the original Future. Just a new name and packaging. So here is the pic. :-)

OK. I'll take the Holloway House back and keep looking. Thank you all the input.

Parts. Here we come. :-). I hardly ever find things like this. There is a listing for 2 boxes of models (30 maybe) but they are 200 miles from me. And $600. Congratulations on your great find.

All I can find where I live is Pledge Revive which is an cleaner which contains oil. I bought Holloway House Quick Shine. It has a leveling agent in it. Will this work? And can you make that Future Glue out of it? Thank you. ?
