  1. Thank you David, Craig, EMRE and Bob. I have a Monogram Boat Tail Packard to tackle some time in the future.
  2. I bought one on eBay a year or so ago. It works well enough but not for enamels that started to gel.
  3. Thank you for the info guys. The newer cars seem to cloud up fast than the older cars with plastic covers.
  4. Thank you Greg. Mine fits ok. Those 2 hood pieces that are under the exhaust headers were difficult for sure.
  5. Beautiful build.
  6. Nice Grzegorz. Pretty in pink.
  7. Looks great. I just watched a Counting Cars a few weeks ago that pulled one of these out of a garage where it was parked in the late 20's or early 30's. It was converted to be a bakery delivery truck for the family's bakery. Put gas in the tank the it started right up after all those years.
  8. Awesome custom. And the colors really work well.
  9. That looks great Michelle.
  10. Really sexy looking.
  11. Beautiful and I love that color.
  12. I agree with sticking to white or gray Carl. Hate yellow, orange, red and pink. LOL
  13. Thank you Fantom, Garry, Dan, Jeff, James, Larry, Jeremy. and Don. Jeff and Don. That's the color of the plastic. With a coat of Pledge Revive It on it! Makes colored plastics pop if its good colored plastic. And if you brush it over everything after you're done. It helps keep the itty bitty parts stay on afterwards. And if you don't like it. Just wash it off. As good as a regular clear coat. No. But it's still not bad. Now I don't think it will fit in my wall display as it looks too long. It fits!
  14. I don’t know why we have this. Maybe the wife used it in her art work. But when I saw fiberglass on there. I gave it a go on the head light fog. Cleaned it up really nice. Now to see how long they say clear. Lol.
  15. Thank you Peter. I have a lot of Testors jars of paint and thought I was going to have to throw them out. You saved me.
  16. Got this kit with a box of stuff. Missing dash so I made one for it. Not the best. Had a hard time with the tiny stuff because of Raynaud’s. So it’s not really clean. It is what it is. Lol
  17. Thank you Peter. What about the ones that were never opened but you can see the pigment at the bottom and the solvent above?
  18. My tail light red enamel paint thickened up. I’ve taken about half of the paint out of the jar in globs. Add mor thinner and it still is not thinning out. Do I just chuck it?
  19. I forgot I had this bottle of Brilliant Metal Polish. I was reading what it’s good for and among the metals it said fiberglass. I had an idea, which isn’t too often, that maybe try polishing the haze appearing on my Camry and Venza’s headlights. I should have taken before and after picture but I was running with my ‘brilliant” idea. They polished up nicely. The Venza will need a bit more polishing and I have no idea how long they will look better. But I had nothing to loose.
  20. Beautiful build. Love the color.
  21. That is stunning.
  22. Nice Ludwig Hans. The wheels look great on it.
  23. I agree with Carl.
