First off I'm glad you are ok. I tried PMing you about this but your account said you are not excepting messages. And still does.

Thank you Eric, David and Mike.

Thank you Garry. I bought Micro Seal but didn't know how to use it. And I knew they were going to split because I could see the lines in the decal. Revive it really makes colored plastic pop. I'm glad you could see the difference.

Thank you Chuck. I’m tempted to put the decals on now. ?

Thank you Michelle. And yes it seems to be a lot of the Round 2 kits.

Broke the tabs on the hood so it’s glued shut. I was going to put the black stripes on the hood like the photo on the box. But they were not in the kit. Just the Coke stuff. Cute enough. Red cherry bomb muffler. Concocted my own exhaust seeing the hood was going to be glued. I didn’t glue the body to the pan because then you could lift the body to see the rest of the Bug. It came out ok.

This came with some other kits I bought. No box. Just the kit sealed in a plastic bag and the instructions. The decals were left over from another Camaro I built. I just have the worst luck with decals. Driver side broke once and the passenger 4 times. I could see the crack lines in the decals before I made them wet. First photo is without Revive It. The rest are after a coat. Can you see the difference?

Where the transmission attached to the floor pan. I connected it lower so the engine is tilted back a bit.

I'm doing the same kit now but yours is much nicer. I screwed up the motor hood by breaking the tabs. So it's glued in place. I'll just not glue the body to the pan so it will lift off. One thing I noticed with the chrome parts are a lot of them will fit a 1940 Ford. I know the grill is there but the chrome headlights also look like 1940 Ford. And the custom bumper won't work unless you make some sort of bracket to hold them.
