My Ollies still has a pretty good selection. No Corvettes, vans or semis though. It had 2 Rat Fink trailers.

Honestly I think I'll limit myself to Duplicolor even though they do not have many light colored metallic blue, green or red colors. Just a shame a paint company like Testors/Rustomleum produce and package a produce that caters to a clientele which is a costly hobby to begin with.

Primed my kit last night Jeremy. Not sure what color I'll go with. But there's what looks like a 1940 Ford grill in the chrome that the instructions don't show?

What irked me today? Going into my Testors spray paint stash and finding 6 cans of paint with orange goo all around the bottoms that leaked out. I don't know. I cleaned off the cans the best I could and will leave them upside down so I know how many are effected. I've had regular cans of spray paint that's lasted years. Why is this such a problem with Testors paint. I think it is mainly the lacquer paints being affected.

Just got this in the mail today to re-create my aunt and uncle's Corvette. Theirs was a 1972 but I think the body didn't change much if at all. He will point them out to me if there were some. LOL. Plus the few 1972 roadster kits I saw on eBay looked like they were red plastic. I just never have good luck covering colored plastic. Funny thing. The sender tried fitting the kit into a USPS envelope that was the consistency of a paper bag. But the kit's box was too large and they couldn't seal the flaps. So they slid it bagged kit onto a USPS's box. I lucked out there. Good thing Revell kit boxes run larger than most AMT boxes.

it sure is a beauty!

This is the one I use and it lasts a long time. Doesn't work long term with enamels unless they are really gassed out. It kind of crazes. Not noticeable in a wall display. But you can wash it off and reapply it. I use a makeup brush to apply it.

As you know I really like those AIRFIX kits. But I once again got a kit that was missing one part. But had a duplicate of another part. Quality control must not be the best there because what would the chances be of having this happen again. So lightning does hit twice. LOL

That thing just creeps me out. It would be long gone if it was at my house. Creeps.

Yes I do Carl. It makes colored plastic pop! And also does hide some scratches.
