Thank you guys.

Ok. I sprayed the wheel Duplicolor Chrome. Couldn’t stand the gold? Had the hardest time getting the front and back to attach. There are 4 attach points on each. I finally cut the 2 upper supports out because they lines right up with the supports molded into the body. And the steering wheel was molded off and attached sideways. So I just drill the hold in the dashboard and glued it in. Put a brushing of Revive It on it popped the blue really nicely. And I used the tinted glass. Painted the taillights red on the outside or with either glass they would have maybe just disappeared or would have been blue.

Thank you Michelle.

Thank you David. I thought so too.

The wheels are on the 1957 Bel air I posted. I think they both fit the car better.

Yes. It makes the colored plastics pop. And the good thing is you can wash it off and re-coat it. Doesn't work well on enamels. I'm doing the Ollies Hot Wheels Camaro on sale. It has a blue metallic type of plastic but not a good finish to the plastic at all. I should take before and after pics but too late. That kit. Egads!

I'm not that good of a builder. I saw them. I tried in on a model before with a very diluted black acrylic and it ended up leaving a shadow where I wiped it off. If you look closely you'll see what I mean. Much more noticeable in real life.

Thank you David. It's a Revell Snaptite kit. The purple is the color of the plastic with a coat of Pledge Revive It. I did the same with the 1957 Belair. And I'm working on the Hot Wheels Camaro from Ollie's which is a blue metallic plastic and we'll see how that looks soon.

Different wheels from the Revell 1957 Chevy Belair Snaptite. I think the switch in wheels make a difference.

You are right Peter. I didn't think of that. The nearest hobby shop is 50 miles from me which is Hobby Lobby Thomas. I figure buying at the auto parts store which is 2 miles away. What I'm saving in gas more than make up spending $16.99 for the Duplicator. Especially with the loss of the money I spent for the leaking cans of Testors.

That is beautiful in that color.

Excellent. It's really cool.

I can't see any flaws. Looks awesome! Plus I like your dog.

That is an awesome build. Love the 4 banger Turbo in it. -

Paint is awesome. And the wheels set it off nicely.

Beautiful build.

Worth a try. I have the cans upside down now so I can see which ones leaked. Maybe I should keep all my cans upside down LOL

My Ollies still has a pretty good selection. No Corvettes, vans or semis though. It had 2 Rat Fink trailers.

Really Carl? I'll give them a call.

Hot looking.
