It’s done. I plan on putting in a display case with a print of their last house in the background. I think they will love it. EDIT>>Added a photo of the Corvette in its display box with a print of their old house in the back ground.

Is your kit missing parts? I can not find the pins for the front wheels in my kit.

Got the missing part to my kit and it’s done. Great company.

I’m not good at these WIP posts. But since the post on What Did You Get Today I figured I should post something. So here we are so far. Color is a bit too gold to me but I’m not special ordering a can of paint from the auto parts store. It will be fine. Had these cheater glasses trying to get the lettering on the tires. It will be fine. And I continue.

It originally had a black top if I'm not mistaken because it had black interior. It was a beautiful car. Sold it just a couple of years ago. Either of my cousins wanted it. I don't know what it sold for and I'm afraid to ask. LOL I think his had the square cut outs for the tailpipes. Don't know if I can do that. The kit has the arched chrome pipe surrounds but seeing there are no cutouts in the model body. Doubt I'll do them. I think we're in the wrong section now JJ. LOL

Oh. I just found out my uncle is starting with dementia. I'll build it to look like his old car and it will be close enough. I know the air cleaner won't be right and a couple of months ago I sold all my extra spare parts. Hind sight. LOL
