  1. Fire in the hole!
  2. Copenhagen was the preferred tobacco amongst my cousins who dipped snuff.
  3. Good help used to be hard to find, however, these days, any help is hard to find.
  4. Tube Snake Boogie is a fine example of the tongue-in-cheek song stylings of ZZ Top, as the title is actually a term referring to surfing.
  5. Radio stars were killed by video, to paraphrase The Buggles.
  6. “Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?”
  7. Sixties television westerns are still a staple in my household.
  8. Man, that is one magnificently beautiful Bonnie! Looks like a real car with that outdoor backdrop
  9. Traveled, journeyed and wandered have I, all for the joy of getting lost.
  10. Gorgeous! I really dig that color.
  11. Winnipeg is a place I would love to see someday as I’ve never had a bad experience in Canada.
  12. Albums were once made from pressed cellulose acetate.
  13. Society of Dunces would make for a great sequel to John Kennedy Toole’s Confederacy of Dunces, were he not somewhere in the great beyond.
  14. World War 1 was referred to as The Great War until the second World War.
  15. Technique and the subsequent sweating of it is something from which Eric B and Rakim tried to dissuade us 3 decades ago.
  16. Mechanics are a dying breed, while parts replacers are a dime a dozen.
  17. Meal worms are my chickens’ favorite snack.
  18. Who farted?
  19. Stuff those feelings way down deep inside and drown them with copious amounts of Four Roses.
  20. Racing forms may as well be toilet paper given my luck betting on the ponies.
  21. Great looking Merc! It’s a great kit, but you’re right about the ride height. I’m not sure where Moebius went awry in that department. I had the same issue with the one I built. I chopped, cut, gnawed and modified all I could without breaking out a donor chassis and still didn’t get it as low as I would have liked.
  22. Life is a riddle wrapped in an enigma.
  23. -Lollapalooza 1992, Waterloo Village, NJ. It’s where I became a huge fan of Tool and Stone Temple Pilots. The Red Hot Chili Peppers absolutely brought down the house. And I still have the Ministry “Jesus Built My Hotrod” tee shirt with the 440 Six Pack on it. “No man with a good car needs to be justified.” -Black Crowes, The Tabernacle, Atlanta, GA 2012. 5 solid hours of some of the best, live, blues based, Southern rock I will ever witness. The band was positively flawless and Chris Robinson sang like he was possessed. Thinking about the 20 minute version of Hotel Illness still gives me chills.
