  1. PS: thanks for the encouragement!
  2. I would buy more American muscle if the kit quality was equal to better than Tamiya. I have just really been spoiled by their kits. I often struggle with AMT models. i do have a 68’ 1/12 Revell camero I need to build
  3. Hello, my name is Aydin. I have a problem. The first step is to admit you have a problem.
  4. I remember one day in heavy traffic, the horn contact started sticking. The car would literally honk intermittently for the next 20 minutes until we got home. I was both laughing and horrified at the same time. Now, in hindsight we should have pulled over and pulled the horn fuse, but I was 4 and my dad is an artist...
  5. A poor kit from Fujimi in the early 80’s, but the 200sx hatchback is rare to find for me. It’s nastalgic; It was the first car my dad owned when we moved to Canada from Iran (I was 3).
  6. That’s my first time ever painting/assembling a “person”. Didn’t come out as horrible as I thought. Attached is with the roll cage attached. Typical a lot for a battery for when these kits were all motorized
  7. Less creepy?
  8. Honestly, it’s near impossible to have no dust inclusions unless you are just lucky or have a clean room. I have a 550cfm DIY spray booth and I still get 2 or three that need sanding.
  9. Helmet awaiting clear coat, trim, and face painted
  10. Hi all!! Currently on my work bench. Apparently Hans Heyer wore a pink FRC, at least that’s what my internet search resulted in. I used a dark brown wash for the shadows/weathering as his suite looked way to clean with satin clear-coat alone. Body is black enamel. Helmet decals took several coats of micro-sol. Just need to sand, polish, add decals, and clear coat. Will update with more poctures. Whatcha think?
  11. Yep, I am definitely done with this guy. Now he has the label printed but has not shipped it yet, ahahhaha. What games... I would have preferred he just return my money as I requested, but obviously he wants his money (which he feels entitled to). I probably would have had my order from the Spanish company by now. Ah well, live and learn.
  12. The paint finish is breathtaking
  13. I escalated through PayPal last night and they responded this morning. I attached the response. Not happy. My primary reason for requesting the refund was a lack of communication, not because the shipment was taking too long. It would have been sufficient if they responded and just said “it’s going to take two weeks”. Using the hurricane as an excuse is also tacky the way he wrote it. How would a first-time customer know where they are located? I can’t seem to find it anywhere on their website (which is also the only means of communication). Doing some research, it shows they are in south Florida? Confused. Reading other people’s threads on the issue, it’s obvious this is not an isolated incident. If he was actually concerned about customer service, he should have suspended taking orders or had a pro-active Response to orders. I will purchase from their European store in the future, or zero paints from hobbyworld.
  14. Thanks for all the encouragement folks!
  15. Thanks guys! I really appreciate it! Here are a few more of my 280zxt
  16. Thanks!!! here is the collection
  17. Gravity Colors! Purchased 15 colors on Sept 14th. Asked multiple times for update with no response. Still says "processing". No idea how I can get an update on the status of my order. Anyone else experience this issue with them? Anyone have a phone number or direct e-mail I can use? All i seem to have access to is the online "chat" feature which is never manned.
  18. Hi All! I have been building 1/24 scale now for about 8 months, and am getting deeper into the hobby. Just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself! I will send a picture of my latest cars and collection shortly.
