  1. looks like a 351W. I think the 302 is a lot narrower.
  2. Is it cold over there... I used to live in WI, don't miss it one bit. well it's gone somewhere besides here... I remember 1984 June 17th it snowed here significanly, 12 hours later it was 75 degrees.
  3. officially 86 degrees yesterday.... snowing today with accumilation and is supposed to continue into tomorrow.
  4. Yup, built by Matra, and is based off the Espace: Formally known as the Espace F1 Mantra. Even had 92-93 Renault/Williams F1 "Active Suspension." Go figure, kind of makes one wonder where in the world they come up with some of there street cars.
  5. I have, been a long time since I seen one but.... IIRC There was a couple different ones depending on the light set up you want. The top of line was pretty sophisticated with programable light patterns, headlight and tail light flashers as well. It was pretty expensive as well.
  6. I do too, I can tell you this it has a 800hp F1 V10 for a power plant. Tops out at a meare 194mph and does 0-60 in 2.8 sec. Nice little grocery getter
  7. probably about $40 for a standard build with paint, but I have spend hundreds on an all out build. I have about $350.00 invested in PE and resin bits for a Panther, Just depends.
  8. I'm not either, but it's a likely guess. Could be a 1.8T no way of telling for sure.
  9. 84-92 Mark II GTI VR6 I donno, It Kind of looked like a Stingray.
  10. There is a good reason for all the reality shows on Speed, like Pinks, Lowrider, Unique Whip... Personally I think that they are drivel at best, but here is the reality of the reality shows. 1. And most important. They are ultra cheap to produce, compared to "drama" or events. Cheap, cheap, cheap! 2. For some stupid reason the GP watches this junk, which only suggests that put something on the boob tube and some boob will watch it. 3. Too, few good writers, and tons of horrible ones. Furthermore, if you are over 40ish you supposedly don't know what is hot, hip, or cool. 4. Mostly young punks running these cable shows who think they know everything but wouldn't know a good show if it bit them on the arse. 5. The target at large is the GP with about a 6th education mentality who is under 25. Why? Because like most “mousekateers†oh I mean marketeerers, same difference, think there the ones with all the disposable income, the trend setters, the shakers and the movers of the world - the biggest slice of the pie. It may not be truth, but it's perception. And, like they say perception is reality.... morons.
  11. Seems to be a theme. I recently graduated @ 39 with a BFA in Film minored in English Writing and have 96 credits towards a BS in Comm Arts, and I am considering going back for a Masters. I tool had a lot of enthusiasm that far exceeded my skills, but my skills are finally catching up. Yeah, TV sure does it for a lot of folks. I still don't watch but a couple hours a week. Sometimes go weeks without turning the TV on at all.
  12. Yeah, I have been just using kit glass. I have made some successful parts now. I think it was part learning the machine and getting the machine back up to speed. Probably hasn’t been used in a while and the vac was a week suck lol. Also you really have to press the frame down to get it to pull right. I also wasn’t aware I was missing the platforms; I have one coming now, but am using foam for now. So it’s all kind of coming together. I can see great things coming in the future from this, and I am looking forward to trying a few different things. I used the last of my sheets, too bad it took 10 tries before getting it right, so I am on hold until I get some new sheets. I kind of feel like my workshop is complete now.
  13. While I haven't perfected a technique yet. It is a dramatic improvement over the kit glass.
  14. I finaly got a Mattel vac-u-form and been trying to make windshields without much luck. Any tips?
  15. Great racing down to the wire. ###### lizards almost got em though.
  16. Go Porsche go Go ya dang flying lizards. I must say though the broadcast is horrible.
  17. Looks like a REPU with a VW badge
  18. yeah, not to much trouble. It took longer to wait for the board to do anything than HTML scripting it.
  19. How bout this little gem
  20. Switches Looks like he hits the main fuel pump - that's the buzzing, probably a electric waterpump and the ingnition. It looks like he has a burnout setting and pass setting that he is switching - probably for the NOS. Then as he is staging the car he purges the NOS three times. At the very end of the pass I think he's pulling the shut lever(s), and then powers down the car. I am sure in a car like that depending on a number of things he is probably going through the traps at 7500-9500rpm. Looks like about a 3000rpm launch.
  21. It was a hard one. But it was a Diasio D962R, chassis by Fabcar, with a renisis rotory. I guess you were close on the Radical built in England. I know it's hard to read, but DIASIO D962R is right on the side of the car in that picture.
  22. CAL

    Mustang Gtp

Nice, so nice I was inspired to go and nab a kit off Ebay.
  23. Sorry, it was a former Tamtech 1/24 RC car, at least the shell was. They were often converted to slots and still are a common slot body. I just remembered it was never originally ment to be a static model kit.
