There isn't anything in Tenax to evaporate but itself. It is a compound rather than a cocktail.

Looks that way Hebco who made Tenax 7R is no longer listed in the domain registery, and has been discontinued by the major suppliers. IIRC it was exactly no or low oder acetone, but I would need to see a MSDS again.

Me too, liked the old way better - it was one of the best on the web. The new interface doesn't seem quite as polished up, and apperently doesn't have the same member flexibility with signatures. Why go an mess with things that actually worked.

I will believe it when I see it. A week ago they still had no drivers lined up. No physical car other than a Wind Tunnel model, hadn't signed an engine agreement. I think they have been suffering from internal problems and money. Windsor was in then out and back in again. There web site hasn't changed in 6 months and nobody can find and real information on them. They are either flying way way below the radar or something is seriously wrong with their program. They have a Argentinian driver who they might bring on board if he comes with no less than 8M in sponcership dollars. On top of all that, I know they really want to build their own car but only the Brits build F1 cars. Well Ferrari builds their own cars but other than that, which USF1 isn't going to get a Ferrari, will have to be built by some UK builder, like everyone elses chassis if they hope to be competitive. I guess we'll see if it's good or bad. I just hope nothing bad happens to him. They are saying now it was a 3 year deal with Mercedes. Not too much of a surprise since last week there was a number of indicators. 1. MS Manager Sabine quite Ferrari and was moving to Germany and she said she was going to work with MS full time in 2010 2. Ferrari pull MS off the their F1 programme 3. Mercedes comments essencially saying that they would be happy if MS joined them and it was all more or less up to him and his health at that point. Longer term indicators 4. He clearly wanted back in a F1 car, and he is taking a pay cut to do it. I guess you can only just hang around Ferrari without a real purpose for so long. 5. And MS bought into Braun GP. 6. He will return to 4 or 5 people he was with from Ferrari's dream team, not withstanding Ross Braun. I think there was more to MS not getting Massa's car last year than a simple neck injury. I think they ultimately were picking MS or FA. I think if the let MS back into their car they would have a hard time getting him out especailly with the Tifosi, therefore forfeiting the bid for FA, which probably has a lot more productive F1 years in him that MS. This will be extremly good for Nico Roseburg if he takes advantage of it.

I agree, I see Maserati all over the California, which is understandable since Ferrari took over Maserati, but can't say that I see Corvette anywhere there.

I have come to the realization you just have to build it for what it is to the best of your abilities. I aways learn something and the next one is always better than the last one.

Yeah, probably could have built a whole model. But it's true, I have a whole bench full of dead in the water kits because I peeked at referance materials, and found inaccuracies. Then it starts, well I could just fix that and this pretty easily, well I am at it I might as well fix this, oh and that. Now that I have made all these other corrections I have to do this this and that otherwise it will all look out of place. Eventaully, I will get to something that needs correcting so it all looks like it's supposed but not have the skills or solution to correct it. What do you do then? Start another kit. Eventually after a few started kits and nothing finished I start feeling quilty and stop starting kits. Then nothing gets done. I figure if I just don't look I wont be tempted to start correcting stuff because I always get sucked into fixing the whole blood thing.

Yup it was already a news story here where we got a couple (4 inches IIRC) that more or less closed down the city. Yeah, you can get around in 4 inches pretty easy but it's not worth it. Normal conditions it takes me 20-25 mins to get to work and gets bumped up to hours with even a little snow on the ground. Once last year with a couple inches of wet heavy slick stuff it took 4 1/2 hours to get home. I can deal with the snow fine it's all the other idiots out there you have to worry about. Most of that 4 1/2 hour delay was a chicklet in a RWD 320 Kompressor with 20s and summer perfomance tires trying to get up a hill on a road where there is just nowhere to push her stupid ass off the side of the road.
