  1. Domenicali said they were going to continue using it. They say when it works it saves .300 sec. FIA might have something else to say about though after now twice it failed and knocked down crew members and caused another unsafe moment. Everyone is expected to jump on the bandwagon as soon as Ferrari has perfected it. Looks like a flippen UFO. There is also a lot of crying about the SC and the pit lane being closed from all the teams. FIA said that they would be reviewing that over the off season.
  2. That's baby boost for Porsche 917/30 ran 2.8 bar or 40psi ! Last time Porsche got involved in Indy it was bad, bad news, bad idea.
  3. I know! I was crushed... the split second I seen him drive away I knew it was all over. And sitting there waiting for the engine to melt down, (did you see the look on his face, ya ya, And to take a drive through, and a late pucture, and sliding into the water barrier. It's a maricle he finished. I almost thought it was Felipe who crashed for an instant. The pit guy running the traffic light was fired, without question. - Domenicali, who also said, "One, Two target for the rest of the races... What was the bloody target the rest of the year? They did look like the old day clowns of F1, for sure. It must have been some sight from the McLaren garage with the Ferrari guys jogging by to get their big worm back. Sad, sad, day... night but you have to admit hit was funny, the rest of the world was laughing their asses off. I guess the McLaren guys were cheering them on as the Ferrari clowns ran by. iye, iye, iye
  4. 1..5 Liter Turbo Charged w/ 1.5 bar boost. Hope it works out better for them this time around.
  5. Hey that is pretty cool. Turned out real nice Nick.
  6. Yup, I think you should, and you can ship all your modeling stuff to me. I will PM you with the address. Which would be about as stupid as quiting, but hey I could use a few more models. Your Ma' sounds like my wife sometimes, when she is not complaining about having all these models and never work on them. It's a loose loose.
  7. Luck for Massa he gets a new engine before Japan and Brazil. I am surprised.... that was his Monza engine... it didn't melt down. Massa had a puncture late just to add salt to the wound.
  8. Yup something to look forward too. I am not sure what the problem is over at Ferrari, but the looked like amatures and clowns and the are 15 for 15 in screwing up one or both of their drivers race results. It's looks like the good ole days when they were the worst team in F1. It could be very well they handed both WCC and WDC titles to McLaren.
  9. Looks like a 100C3 with an RS badge.
  10. Well I think I have the chassis sorted out.
  11. I agree, I had him pegged for fourth behind both Ferrairs, I didn't see anything he done wrong, and he was luck because his car clearly wasn't competitive with Ferrari or Alonso's Reunalt. He (Hamilton) had to know that all eyes were going to be on him and couldn't afford any controversy.
  12. Although it was his second, he was married to Joanne Woodward for 50 years. That should tell you something.
  13. I was glad to see Alonso win. Ferrari is just having bad luck and a run of costly mistakes. Poor ole Massa can't seem to catch a break. This is the second race he should have won and it goes bad for him - totally out of his control. I am surprised and impressed by Hamiltons perfomance. He didn't do anything stupid, but it was clear early on they (McLaren) didn't quite have the pace of Ferrari. Lucky break for Hamilton. He didn't (Hamilton) didn't get no raw deals from FIA. If anyone would bother to read the Sporting Reg you'd see he's been luck that he hasn't gotten more penalties. It is black and white, spelled out in the Sporting regs. FIA didn't do anything wrong.
  14. yup another race Massa seemed to have in the bag lost my Team Ferrari.
  15. What are you trying to do? Secretly giving McLaren a better position.... Are you sure your Tofisi?
  16. not exactly what I had in mind...
  17. We knew it was coming, he has been home "resting" the past couple of weeks. It was just a matter of time. It happened late last night - morning.
  18. Wouldn't a Ferrari 1, 2, 3 be awsome!
  19. Very true, but I only knew him as a race car driver. He has been known to just walk away from someone who would try to talk movies with him at the track. At the track he was just another driver and didn't expect to be treated any different than anyone else. He was just Paul at the track.
  20. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul on several occations: A super nice guy, great competitor on the track, and an inspiration to be around. I, as well as everyone, knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier. God Speed Mr. Newman.
  21. Boy Wonder almost didn't make it to Q3 again... Go Massa!
  22. Oh yeah, that was an infamous battle that went on for laps. Hamilton will never be that good. Too impatient.
  23. That sounds pretty much like GTR2, which is said to have about the best physics. You make it about ten feet if you don't know what you are doing, especially in something like a 550. I am getting pretty good with that twitchy thing though. 3:53:500 at LeMans (2004) The best practice time for a 550 at the 2004 LeMans 3:54.105, best class time with a CR6 3:49.982
