  1. Ii figured out the braided line, the heat shrink idea worked well.
  2. Also I happen to have some 1/24-1/25 scale braided fuel/coolant hoses I'm looking to use, but whatever is on the metal or what it's made of doesn't quite glue so well. As well I find it looks ugly without some nice fitting or something on the end. Iv contemplated using shrink tubing an end and painting it blue and red but or soldering an end and filling it. Perhaps someone can suggest a way I can go about it, I may be creative at times but I'm a little stumped on this one.
  3. Chassis is comming together and as you can see it is defenently the front and rear end of a C4 Corvette. I managed to shov the bomber seat in along with a larger roll cage. Needless to say I decided agenst re using the tiger doorpannels and to just keep it open NASCAR style. The engine sits lower then expected so I may be able to put the hood on although I will need to make an ungly hood scoop due to the intake pipes off the intercooler, still debating it though.
  4. Frame is primed, front bumper thing has been sanded. I'm going to need some heavy duty side fender flares or some side exhaust, I will have to look at it after I fix the height in the rear end. This thing looks super goofy and I love it!
  5. Yes i saw that one! it looks super cool! im Might take it a step further though, i saw this picture of a Triumph TR6 and i thought that it would fit the Tiger nicely. I like the way the fenders in the picture of the Tiger are white and that the blue paint seems to go around the fenders, i'm more or less considering incorporating that aspect into the TR6 paint job, and put it on the Tiger
  6. Built a roll bar and just fixed general clearance issues.
  7. Lol i'm having too much fun! Help! someone stop me!
  8. I thinking about something that really pops. I just completed my 1/25th scale Datsun pickup that i painted the BRE colours. I'm thinking about either a blue or green, i want to do it a two tone, something you might see painted on a car going around a track, like something from a vintage trans am race. that way I could display both the Datsun and the Tiger side by side. if you guys got any suggestions or race style designs that I could easily paint with spray cans and tape than i would be open to any interesting idea.
  9. I actually think the bomber seats are two wide, the seat just lines up to the edge of the interior floor i made, only problem is the door panel will have to be glued on top of the floor making the seat two wide by whatever the thickness of the door panel is (approximately 3mm or 3/32") now I actually found the other Tiger seat, and both of them are slim enough. but i like the bomber seat idea better and i have two bomber seats, so im going to try and think of a way to use the bomber seats.
  10. The original intirior won't fit no matter how you slice it, by the time I'm done there won't be any more space to put anything else in this thing! Made some wheels from some rear dragster rims and lowrider tires. The bomber seats are actually still to big, I'd use the original seats but there is only one, let's hope the gremlin seats fit.
  11. The trailer is almost done. for some reason the wheels don't want to stay glues on. otherwise the truck itself is done, I would like to upload them together under glass anyways.
  12. Final update of the night. I broke this engine so much today it's not even funny. Intercooler is finally done. I'm finding more and more parts missing, good thing I got alot of jb weld.
  13. Now that i actually do have, but its not an overly attractive seat mold. but it will definitely fit.
  14. That's not a bad idea, that is even if the Gremlin seats would fit lol!
  15. Here's to hoping the transmission will allow a driver and passenger seat. RIP hood and driveshaft.
  16. Yeah the block was missing the intake, water pump, pulleys and timing cover so I have to make my own, in case your wondering why the front of the engine looks a bit weird. Hopefully the garret turbos I bought off ebay a while back can cover all that up.
  17. LOL, Na I got my own thank you very much
  18. So turns out the Vette is also missing parts, iv all ready needed to scavenge a timing cover as well as an intake. Thankfully I have styreene to help me with the dual plenum intake route I decided to go.
  19. Well it's corona time, and there is few cures to boredom. I got the Sunbeam thinking it was a complete kit, but on closer inspection it's missing some major parts. I got this great idea to "resto racecar" this Sunbeam, Corvette style. The idea is to fit the 94 Vette, engine, drivetrain, and suspension underneath the smaller 64 Tiger. Lately my ever expanding lunacy has given me some crazy ideas on some of my kits and this is one of them.
  20. Sadly I'm going to be boxing this one for a little while. Sadly to continue this kit I need two things. a: I need paint, but everything is closed right now. B: this is a kit me and my dad started a while back, he is all ways busy with work and me and him both feel that this is a kit me and him should finish together. So with these two problems I feel that it I should put it on hold for a little while. So it's back in the box but it's not on the shelf of doom.
  21. The datsun is complete, now just to finish the trailer. Im just waiting on a few things for the trailer first. But when the trailer is finally done I will be putting this truck and trailer under glassunder glass!
  22. The pictures don't do much justice to how good the clearcoat turned out, but hopefully when it drys I can take a better photo with the bed and cab together
  23. I just couldn't resist the BRE datsun colours, just need to find myself some racing numbers and sponser decals to put on the side of this. Not bad for a rattle can paint job though I could have done it a little bit better.
