  1. Hello !. Finally completed except a few refinements to bring here and there is my 1971 Fleetwood, by Robert Burns's Too Many Projects resin kits. I wanted a rare but accurate color for her, so I went with this 1971's Primrose Firemist. As all Robert's kits come incomplete, the seats and hubcaps have been printed while the interior, dash, door panels and the chassis are scratchbuilt. A bit of body modifications were necessary since the kit is having a few proportions inaccuracies but overall this is again a fantastic model, and totally unique in that scale. ( not including TKM's old kits ). Hope you'll like her. Thanks for watching.
  2. Hi Michael. Thanks!. I have scratch built parts for the interior myself. I've made a resin copy of a 1976 Eldorado dash from JoHan since they were all the same these years, and created door panels with styrene sheets. Seats have been 3d printed by a friend. And the chassis is also from a JoHan Cadillac. Lots of modification to feet the wheelbase to the Fleetwood one though. I wish his kits to be more complete but I won't complaint since nobody ever did this Cadillac before, especially with such great proportions overall.
  3. I find that very very disappointing ! That's so close to the surf and the Ghostbuster's Miller Meteor versions it's not attractive at all. Plus there's a serious body issue with the rear skirt, with also a weird and inaccurate horizontal dent, or curve, at the bottom of the rear fender. Seriously, the base was here for AMT to be a bit more creative with a Eureka or a Superior version. Bringing something a bit different and classy for once, with larger white walls than these, and a real body refresh. Looks like it won't happen...

Absolutely fantastic !. Gorgeous colors. You also corrected and painted the chromed sides of the headlights, great details and accuracy.
  5. Hi , thank you very much. Windows are completely closed. It's the shadow of the roof frame on the clear plastic sheet. I noticed now that they look open . Gives me also ideas for next model.
  6. Hi Jonathan ! Thank you very much. I am glad my model brings you back to warmth places.
  7. Hi!. Thank you!. Front crest is a photo etched metal part, bought on Ebay a couple of years ago. Trunk one is a water decal, also bought on ebay.
  8. Hi ! Here's my latest built. This is the Robert Burns's 1976 Fleetwood resin kit. I've painted her in Georgian Silver metallic with a dark blue scratchbuilt interior. A friend 3d printed for me the correct hubcaps for the year. I still have a few details to add such as a passenger mirror and some scripts on the body and roof but overall, she's done. Hope you'll like it.
  9. Beautiful Cadillac !.
  10. Hi ! Long time I've posted a Cadillac on the forum. Here is the Robert Burns's TMP 1971 Cadillac kit finally done. These kits don't come complete so it takes a long time to fully assemble one, with scratch built parts and donors. I have dressed her up with an accurate 1971 Adriatic Turqouise Metallic. A friend of mine printed the correct hubcaps and seats. I have created the interior door panels and molded-converted a 1971 JoHan Dash. Chassis is from JoHan's Caddy but also required lots of work to fit with the body. Robert's kits are a dream come true for unprecedented models in that scale. Cadillac lovers, they are far from easy to built but don't let them go....
  11. Very beautiful Cadillac, great work here!.
  12. Hi Jay !. You can follow Robert Burns ( too many projects ) from his facebook's page. It's simply called "Too many projects". Regularely he is posting models available with a list to choose and order from. That list is really impressive, with hundreds of never produced resin kits. Remember the kits are 3d printed, and incomplete. You need donors to finish them. And you can choose the resin quality. Brown resin is high end, with moderate sanding. White is lower quality with more prep.
  13. Claude! Chapeau, c'est époustouflant!. Quel talent....
  14. Thanks Ian for the kind words and sharing your story. You've been a lucky man driving a real one !
  15. Thank you all very much !
  16. Hi guys. Sharing my last built, a 1/25 1969 Cadillac wagon resin kit by Dan Decko. Kuddos to Dan to bring such a rare Cadillac on the market. Sources differ a bit on the exact number produced that year. Between 5 to 14 commissioned by GM to chauffeur their executives around for the 1969 Indy 500 race season. Probably 5 Fleetwood and the rest as DeVille series. A very cool but tough model to build though, my sample was not really straight so fitting body, bumpers and chassis all together brought me some headaches. I brought some light body modifications such as a more accurate curve to the sides of the roof, on the windows trim, and add the lower body trim moldings on the rocker panels. I've painted her in Chateau Mauve Firemist metallic, an accurate '69 color for Cadillac and add extra details on roof and trunk lid. Hope you'll like her.
  17. Looove it !. Excellent built. I have just finished the 1969 wagon from him, painted the same color as you. Will share it also very soon.
  18. Very nice work!. I like that you took the time to chrome all the lower body panels and fenders. It makes the car even more beautiful, and accurate. Great save !
  19. Very nice Cadillac, love the color!
  20. Hi Howard. Thank you so much for sharing that incredible story !. By chance, did you have any photo of the car from that show that you'd like to share with me?. There were not so many pictures of her from that period of time. I was a teen back then and knew only the pics from the Guinness book of records. You may find funny the fact that I have also put some coats of Meguiar's wax on my model !.
  21. Hi David!, Thanks for your kind words!. I didn't thought about about contacting them. Jay Ohrberg, the creator in the 80s, and the actual owner Michael Dezer could find her interesting
  22. Thank you very much for your kind words. It's really appreciated.
  23. Salut Claude! Merci beaucoup !!!. She's about 34.5 inches long. Long enough to sit in my display cabinet. LOL
  24. Hi Dave, what details would you like to know ?
