  1. I live about 20 minutes from here. https://cootersplace.com/cooters-luray-va/ and about 30 minutes from where the Walton's was filmed
  2. I would like to find a driving figure to go in my 1/8 scale Big T but not having any luck. Does anyone know where I might find one? I am also thinking of making the headlights and tail light light up but, not finding any videos except for R/C cars or Scifi stuff. Is it all basically the same?
  3. Because of that problem, I downloaded an answering machine app. that would play a message if someone called.
  4. Was and is my AOL email name. I can still hear the modem sound while trying to connect through phone line
  5. I realize that there stuff isn't great and I normally don't buy from them but, it's what I can afford for now and I understand about the noise and will eventually replace it. Thank you for your replies.
  6. I am new to airbrushing and just bought an airbrush and now looking for a compressor and don't really know about them. I am on a limited buget as there will be other thing like paint and thinner to buy as well as other things. I found this one at harbor freight, will this do the job? https://www.harborfreight.com/16-hp-58-psi-oil-free-airbrush-compressor-60329.html
  7. I just bought the Big T and looking forward to building it. The little T came out after the big T because they thought most people wouldn't be able to afford the large scale kit so they introduced the kit in the Little T version
  8. I also had lots of movie monster models. All of my cars, planes and such got blown up by fireworks
  9. One kit I had when I was a kid which was in large scale, maybe 1/8th or 1/12th was an oddball which I can't find to this day. It was a trike but, the rear was a corvette, maybe 71 or 72 with a springer front end off a motorcycle. I don't remember who make the kit but, most likely AMT or Ertle
  10. Sure, I'm in. Once I get my cast off, I will start back at it
  11. Picked this kit up for less than $50. I have to wait until my cast is off to start. I have wanted this kit for a long time but haven't found one under $100
  12. Here's one I've been working on for some time. Guess I'll have to pull it out at some point. 2007 Shelby Mustang
  13. Picked this one up yesterday in an antique shop. I will have to wait until my cast is off to start it though. This is a big one at 1/8 scale and over 16" so big enough for lots of detail
  14. Nice, I will be building this one as soon as my cast is off
