  1. starting the interior. The first mistake I made, and it's only because of my inability to go slowly and get impatient. The first mistake is the driver's side shock, which is backwards and will stay that way unless it bothers me, or it's in the way. Second mistake were the torsion bar supports, which were supposed to go in before I foolishly, permanently, cemented to torsion bars and swingarms. I was able to cut slits in the supports and slide them over each torsion barLesson learned
  2. This is my first kit like this. There are two instruction manuals which have to be compared, in order to figure out what parts to use, and what parts not to use. I bought this book by David Parker which is loaded with great pictures of actual Tigers and his build. I have made a couple mistakes and was able to correct one, the other I will have to wait and see if I have to correct it. s
  3. Not model car related but got these kits. I'm going to have Luke Duke(Tom Wompat) sign the General Lee model
  4. This thing is a monster at 52" long. It is setup to received a motor drive for RC right out of the box but, not doing that. First time with Photo-etch as well
  5. I've refrained from posting here because a lot of subjects are suggestive but, one thing that bothers me is, trying to find build videos where the builders hands are filthy and nails long and dirty. If they're going to make a video, do something with your hands or at the very least, clean your nails. I get turned off by so many videos because of this
  6. Nice plane diarama. Reminds me of LHM during WW2 under camo, made to represent a neighborhood

  9. thank you. I am building this kit, although very slowly and wouldn't mind finding another. Please do keep me in mind.
  10. Hey Steve, is that Big T model complete and unbuilt? I'd like to take that off your hands if so.
  11. So, I am building a fly rod for a compitition. I have been working on the wraps for a week and was finally finishing up the cross wraps on the butt section when I cut the wrong thread and the whole thing came undone. One weeks worth of work, gone in less than a minute. Oh well, time to soldier on and rewrap.
  12. I too am building this kit and just fitting the body pieces. The fit and finish is near perfect. I don't mind the seams so, I won't bother.
