  1. Hi Chris! Thanks for the comments. That junction of the c-pillar and the upper quarter on the 66 Riviera is one of the best GM design detail ever IMHO. My opened roof makes it appear even "slimmer", which is a good thing, I guess... CT
  2. Hi Ray! Thank you for your faithful support! CT
  3. Hi Tim! Thank you for the compliments. I must admit this one was on my mind for a while, but as I get older, it's often more difficult to get things in gear. Oh well... CT
  4. Hi Francis! Spectacular work, as usual. Can't wait to see it "in the flesh". Now, on a financial note: It's a good idea to put a Canadian dime in the pictures at this time: the quality of your work might actually raise the exchange rate of the Canadian currency! We never know! CT
  5. Hi Paul! Thank you. The seats are scratchbuilt, using the tip of plastic ustensils handles, affixed to a structure made of Evergreen stock. Bon appetit! CT
  6. Santa-Barbara souvenirs...
  7. Hi Scott! Wow, the basic kit is great, but your restoration is spectacular. Bravo! I would kill for one of those kits, the Packard in particular. Someday... CT
  8. Salut Mario! Thank you for the compliments. I spent a good deal of time studying the various clay concepts that GM experimented with under Bill Mitchell's tutelage, and I suspect he would have looked at it favorably. However, the top guy liked to throw all kinds of body "decorations" on his concept cars (side grills, air extractors, decorative moldings, etc.) . So, I suppose he would have ordered "body jewelry" that I chose to do without. Oh well... CT
  9. Hi Steve! Hope you are doing good? Thank you for the comments. I keep pressing on with my annual Bonnie car. Currently at final primer on the body, and assembly of the finishes chassis/powertrain. I tried to make good use of the rule book you sent me, and made a few mods to "pass inspection". More soon on this forum! Regards, CT
  10. Hi Tim! Always fun to search the past for our first efforts. I can't help it but smile when I see the sewing thread for plug wires. That was well before the "aftermarket " took off! And that AMT flake paint was the "in" thing back then. Was hard to find here in the Great White North. Lots a details here, bravo! CT
