  1. HI Greg! Thank you, and happy holidays from one end of the Great White North to another! CT
  2. Thank you Monsieur Saucier! Happy holidays. CT
  3. Hi Bill! Impressive collection. I must say my favorite is the injected 3W. Perfect stance and packaging: Bravo! Happy holidays! CT
  4. Hi Phil! Wow, what a detailed tribute... Museum quality, for certain! The paint job and the execution of the rear doors are flawless. Bravo. Happy holidays to you! CT
  5. Hi Phil! Thank you. I'm finishing 5 projects at once, and should start posting in january. Hope to surprise you... Happy holidays! CT
  6. Hi Francis! Well, my friend, you are the only human I know who would machine his own taillights BEZELS! Incredible, but not surprising coming from you. Now, the 4150 bulbs (with twin filaments) will be something. Can't wait! Joyeuses fêtes! CT
  7. Hi Tim! Happy holidays, and a quick recovery. We can't wait for your project to resume! CT
  8. Reverse-engineering could bring many obsolete kits: what are-they waiting for? ct
  9. Merci Mario. Et joyeuses fêtes malgré la météo! CT
  10. HI! I have white 12X12 ceramic tiles under my bench, and of course, as I do much scratchbuilding... the Evergreen microscopic parts fall once in a while. No panic: I lay a led flashlight on the floor, with the beam pointing in the direction I suspect the part to lay. Even if it is white on white, the low "sunset" light beam gets the part to cast a shadow (!) that allows me to locate it. Hardly loose a part anymore, and it can't get trapped in the carpet fibers. When I mop the floor, I filter the waste water in the bucket trough an old coffee filter: strange things may show up! But to Tom's point: my knees are not getting any younger. Oh well... CT
  11. Thank you Doyle! I keep trying to build more... CT
  12. Hi RRR! Thank you. A handsome of people have reacted to the notion of a "20 MPH" Club. The SCTA culture is not at par with, say, NASCAR... but we'll get there! Happy Holidays to you too. CT
  13. Thank you Jim, happy you like them! Happy holidays to you from the (frozen) Great White North! CT
  14. Hi Bil! Interesting project, and your surface treatment is very convincing. Bravo! CT
  15. Hi Kimmo! Thank you. But at least, you build something. Keep at it and happy holidays! CT
  16. Hi Dennis! Thanks. It seems to be the only thing that does not diminishe with age... CT
  17. Hi Dan! Thanks. I always had a soft spot for looooong 33 Fords. Had two 1/1 myself, and their souvenir sticks. See the last one below... CT
  18. Hi Jeff! Thanks for the compliments. As to the flames, I used Tamya's LP Clear orange, shot with my airbrush over a Lazy Modeler mask. The effect was great, but upon clearing over the flames, the clear accentuated their contrast with the base color, which was contrary to what I was looking for. Too dark... So, I just dusted the sides of the body, over the flamed section, with the same Tamya's metallic gold spray-can lacquer that I painted the car with. It "buried them", and I got the "ghost" effect I was looking for. CT
  19. Hi Bruce! Thank you. It won a few trophies, but above all, was a fun challenge to build! CT
  20. HI! I recently had to replace a faulty HMI cable connecting my TV, and I split open the old one, just to see. Well, perfect size and sturdiness for plug wires, and in 5 colors to boot. I now have supplies for years to come... In case you wonder, my cable had wires smaller than, say, telephone wires. Hence the right size for spark plugs on 1/25 or 1/24. CT
  21. Thank you Bob, and happy holidays to you! CT
  22. Hi Dan! Thank you. I had fun building it. As much as when I did it for the first time in the late 60's... CT
  23. Hi RRR! Wow, as classic as can be. Very nice! CT
  24. Hi Tony! Very nice, and your dash detailing is world-class. Bravo! CT
