  1. Thanks Stuart! Now, I'll have to put my ego in check... CT
  2. Hi Ray! Good to see you back' I saw those on the street, in this shade, back then. The power of nostalgia. Bravo! CT
  3. Thanks Mathias! You are right: the proportions look similar. CT
  4. Thanks Jeff! Somehow, bright candy red still moves us even after all those years... CT
  5. Salut Mario! Thank you, but you have to agree that the basic design is GREAT to start with. It was not a "hard one" LOL. CT
  6. Hi Terry! Wow, very impressive, bravo! CT
  7. Hi david! Thank you for the comments. Indeed, I think there is a Jungle Jim Nova Funny car kit that also has a longer profile, but it was not available lately in my area. So, I had to cut and glue! CT
  8. Merci mon ami! I appreciate the comparison to Mr. Launier's work. Usually, I err more on the side of Pro-Touring, so this Pro-STREET variation was interesting. The high tail was popular in the pro-street movement, but I guess it's an acquired taste LOL. CT
  9. Salut Francis! I created a new thread in the Model Cars UNDER GLASS section 30 minutes ago, with 10 pics, and not a glitch. Strange indeed! CT! ct
  10. Hi! I always felt the 66 Nova was an "almost perfect" design... But for the fact the roof was a little too tall, and the front clip a smidge too "stubby". So... Take the AMT kit (Pro-Street version), chop the top, lenghten the front fenders about 5/16 th, create a new front end, scoop and interior, throw the Wagonrod rolling stock at it, the Beretta Pro-Street powerplant, and cover it all in bright candy red with cobweb style graphics. . VoilĂ . I agree that the rear is a bit jacked up, like we did in the late 60's on day 2 of getting our new car. but that was the way to go, wasn't it? A concern in southern US created the VENOM a few years ago: a 66 Nova "street rod kit", with a fiberglass body (chopped and modified) + rodified chassis. It impressed me back then, and I thank them for the inspireation! Hours of fun with styrene! CT
  11. Thanks Andrew! Now, you are putting some pressure on me for the next built... Stay tuned! CT
  12. Thanks Bill! Somehow, I seem condemned to left-field stuff LOL.
  13. Hi steve! Be warned: this affliction is almost impossible to cure, I'm afraid... What I meant by the reference to GM's Fiero was that the B-pillar on your creature reminds me of my own 1/1 Fiero SM4 back in the 80's. Before they came with the fastback V6 GT. Nostalgia... CT
  14. Well, my friend, your "lazy" standard is Waaaaay above average, is all I can say! CT
  15. Salut Jean-François! Wow, very nice. Do you have pics of the interior components, because the reflections on the windows makes it difficult to appreciate your work... Bravo! CT
  16. Thank you Bill! I always try to move forward, but I'm getting older by the day, so... not always easy! LOL CT
  17. Fully deserved, believe me! CT
