  1. Hi Dave! Very interesting mix of parts. The rake is reminiscent of Tom Prufer's famous Cop Shop Coupe, built by Pete Eastwood way back then. Bravo! CT
  2. Hi Tim! Thank you for the extensive "report". It goes to show that your 1/1 scale career was as impressive as your 1/24 one! As an old Ford guy, that Mark VIII in candy red would do just fine. I had 3 Contours (95, 96 and 95 again...), but not the SVT variety as the red one you posted. It was a vigourous car with the V6, and I can only imagine the SVT version... A neighbour had a "turquoise" 70 mach 1, just like the one in your report. All the teens on my street were dreaming about such a car. Nostalgia... CT
  3. Hi Dan! Thank you so much for your reply. And judging from the quality of finishes on the few pics you posted, I WILL definitely check the whole gallery on you Facebook page. The show and models are obviously world class. Bravo! CT
  4. Hi Barry! You are right: Hank Borger explained the technique, and I was a subscriber back then! However, this very FC is done with a different technique, where you have more control over the final result in comparison with the "swirl" method... CT
  5. Hi Mark! Any picture we can see? CT
  6. Hi Brian! Very nice, and well executed. Life is short, keep modeling! CT
  7. Hi Tim! All is well deserved, and I'm happy to learn that the smoke is finally clearing. Those fires were major, nothing like we've seen before. Maybe the planet is tryng to tell us something... Keep well! CT
  8. Hi Tim! Obviously, the Vermoint fresh air is having great impact: this is museum quality work, bravo! The colors, textures, and minute details are fantastic. I've not seen so many carburators in the last year, for instance. And I can only imagine what size of bank account a guy would have needed to afford such a combo, then... and now! Masterfull work, again! CT
  9. Hi Mike! Very clever, well done, and the perfect showcase for the powertrain. Bravo! CT
  10. Hi peter! Thank you. I will look at your suggestion, but the shallow molding of the tips make it a bit complicated... CT
