  1. Trying for that ''one more for the year'' finish. Interior is cream and white with tan carpet that cannot be seen once the seats are in ,and door and back panel speaker grilles cant be seen, all the small highlites inside were picked out with a black pencil , so all I have left are lights and glass and small outside parts.
  2. Great stuff Pat,,looked like a good time,,neat pics ,''Little Red Deora'' ?
  3. That came out real good Brian..flames look great.
  4. Very cool Matt , gonna be sharp in miniature..
  5. Thats some really cool tire details, did you make your own tire tags? Nice work.
  6. I like the idea Curt and think that chevy will pull it off nicely , and enjoyed Steves build too, looks great...
  7. A couple extra days off work and this ones done: The exhaust is made from a run of sprue bent with a heat gun and pin fit , kick stand that came with the kit would not hold it up , so made one from an old axle painted black. The mirror is made from thin plastic cut out with a paper punch and the bare metal face was cut out the same way and glued on.The top shield on the headlight is made from a press on fingernail and molded in. The springer is a 1/12th die-cast item , the handle bars are K & S brass tube, seat studs are small pin heads cut short. The cables are 20 gauge black and or silver wire , holding them to the frame are pieces on photo etch tree . The engine was de-chromed and painted silver with black wash in the fins. The tank is from another bike lowered and made wider up front. Color is Dupli-color medium metalic red with Dupli-color top coat clear.I noticed I forgot the clutch cable but I'm not writing this over again, I'll add it later.
  8. Kenny , thats super sharp , I really like that one..
  9. Thanks to all..Ben its Dupli-color Garnett medium metallic if I remember right..cleared with Dupli-color top coat. I should have it done today...the exhaust pipes are the hold up , I dont really like the ones in the kit , trying to modify something but im kinda stuck.. :?:
  10. Thats a neat twist for an AWB , looks great , and welcome to the ''Forum''
  11. Reading the different thoughts on grails and collections for the purpose of building every kit got me to thinking , 'When do you have enough' . I've been moving everything to the basement and building racks for two days and figured out at 1 kit a week at age 52 , I need to finish the last one at age 71 1/2 , and thats if I quit buying now , and since my rate of build is 5 a year , and that will make me 252 years old  . I love the re-issues , that saves my originals, but buying them only puts me further behind . Who am I kidding , I'll keep buying kits and building shelves , and make plans for each and every kit . Now I need a place to put the completed ones.
  12. Looks pretty good Ron....I love that series Revell is doing , and like seeing what others do with theirs..
  13. Craftsman 25 gallon, with a regulator set up for [2] lines , thats why you see the two gauges ...but it sounds like a Panzer attack when its running... .since bought a 2 gallon for 50 bucks , it works nice and its more compact , run only 1 line with a plastic water trap filter...
  14. Thats some kind of scratch building , complete 4 stroke engine WOW !!!!
  15. No mufflers , no air-cleaner , so direct intake & exhaust improoved horse-pressure..........
  16. Your work is remarkable Jeff , good workmanship will always have a following...
  17. Thats a ''HOT'' looking Willys...great job Tom
  18. Now thats nice lookin....
  19. Ken there is a set in the '65 Riv kit , not as nice as the ones from R & M of Maryland but they are finned....
  20. The 'CA' I use comes in thin, medium, or thick and has various curing times 5 to 15 seconds on the medium , which is what I use . Refrain from using on clear parts , it tends to frost up. Plastruct and Pro-weld are the utility glues...and Hobby Lobby 5 minute epoxy 2 part only becauase I like the containers, they are easy to use without mess and elmers or testors window maker for clear parts and a bottle clear finish for photo-etch parts..
  21. That looks great Matt , that hood looks cool...
  22. Keep it as is Ken...looks super, great work..
  23. Thanks Matt, bars are K & S brass tubes I had the aluminum ones made up and polished , but I like the painted ones better..
  24. Had to start doin some work on this one again, its been awhile but I got it in paint. De-chromed the block and painted silver, leaving just the top covers in chrome. Studded the seat , de-chromed the light and added a visor, this will also be body color. This is just a quick mock up , nothing cemented in yet...the studs photograph odd, made them out of small pin-heads , they look like they need to be pushed in a little more.......
  25. Cool build Craig... builds up pretty nice..I'll have to grab me one or two next hobby-shop stop...
