John, do you ever use lacquer thinner when shooting the enamel?

Another Excellent one, John. I wish I could get the results you do with testors enamel. Its just perfectly beautiful. I take it there is no polishing required? That's the bad thing about using acryl. It has to be polished and I really hate polishing.

Excellent splatter paint. Could you describe your process. The build I'm doing now, really should have a part of it splatter painted, but I don't have a clue how to do it successfully.

I found another email address so I reregistered under a new username new password and new email address. It said I was registered so I went to log in and it wouldn't let me in again. Guess its not meant to be.

Well they finally sent me a new password to log in but of course it didn't work. I tried to reregister with a new user name and password but it said my e-mail address was already being used. Of course its being used. By me. I have another e-mail address somewhere but I'm not sure how to locate it so I guess I really am done with that site.

Yes, without the archived reference of builds by Winnet, Henrik, and others and the photos by Bernie 427 there is really no reason to go there anymore. If you want to post your builds and talk nascar just do it here and at other sites.

See you guys in all of the other model sites we have available to us, this one is just not worth the trouble now.

Jonathan, I should have said the roof around the quarter glass is different or just that the quarter glasses are different. You are correct the roofs are all the same on these cars. I'm going to try to make an Arca Toyota from a Chevy. The arca Toyota is not as much trouble to convert as the nascar one is. The quarter panels on the 2017/2018 Nascar Toyotas are really weird.

The only trouble is the roof is a lot different and also the quarter panels and of course the taillight panel. The Chevy looks a lot closer than the ford to use as a donor for the Toyota.

Thomas, I respectfully disagree. If you are able to access this board then you should be able to access anything on the web. There are many people on this board and other boards who have huge knowledge about Nascar and can answer any question you need answered. I'm sure 90 percent of the members of Randy's don't just stay at Randy's. A new board that I was invited to , "Short Track Models" is full of very knowledgeable people about Nascar. So there's another one you should try. Don't let the name fool you, they cover more than just short track models.
