  1. That's some fine looking detail you got going on there.
  2. Me too, Mitch. I just hope I can get that metallic color to look right with the airbrush. I'm waiting on a part from Paasche to regulate the airflow on the brush. My compressor never came with a regulator which made it very hard to use.
  3. Ok, thanks John
  4. If I had known about such things, I might have kept using my airbrush years ago. Thanks again, Michael, for the link.
  5. Michael, I went ahead and ordered the needle valve directly from Paasche. It should be here by Saturday. The compressor I have puts out 40 p.s.I. and there is no way to reduce it because it doesn't have a regulator on it. This valve should allow me to do it right at the air brush. It wont have a guage so I will just have to trial and error it till I get it right.
  6. Thanks, Michael. But if I can get the other valve and the adapters locally I wont have to pay for shipping. They say hobby Lobby is a dealer for them but I doubt if they carry this needle valve.
  7. Will the Iwata external Mac valve fit a Paashe vL airbrush? If not can it be adapted to fit it? Thanks if you can help.
  8. Thanks, Bill
  9. I got the trim panels finished and my paint order came in today. The paint looks beautiful in the bottle. I just hope I can do it justice on the model. I haven't air brushed anything in about 8 years. its just so easy to use Tamiya rattle cans but they didn't have anything close enough to this color.
  10. Bruce, I should mention though if you buy them go ahead and get two sheets or you will have major bleed through problems. The decals are very very thin.
  11. Thanks, John. After the new rules changes I really don't care for the subject matter anymore either. I have one more modern build to do only because I have already made the decals for it and don't want them to go to waste.
  12. Thanks, Carl.
  13. Wow. Another perfect build. I did not remember there were this many different cartoon network cars.
  14. Another awesome one.
  15. Excellent build as always, John.
  16. Thanks, guys
  17. Wow, John. I did not know you could build 1:1 models too. That's a real beauty. Very impressive.
  18. Thanks , John. Got some interior pieces ready for paint. That's actually white primer. I don't know why it turned out gray in the picture.
  19. Thanks , Bill. Its amazing how you can find about anything you need on U-tube. There's no way I could have painted white walls on these tires and made them crisp and clean.
  20. I guess this would be a good way to make redline tires as well. Just paint the paper circle red before you add it to the tire.
  21. Most of the pictures of this car show it with the front tires being white walls. The parts box whitewall tires I had just did not look right for this car so I knew I needed to turn the kit tires into white walls. I found a U-tube video that worked pretty good that uses label paper. I had to buy the circle cutter at my local art supply store because Hobby Lobby did not have it. I added the step where you seal the whitewall to the tire with dull coat lacquer.
  22. That's amazing, John. Your skills look awesome back then as they do now. Beautiful build.
  23. Seats need one more sanding and white primer. Added some handles back that had to be removed to change the trim panels. They need to be primed again with gray and then later with white.
  24. I did a build where I took the 2 door sedan roof off a dodge and put it on a Plymouth to make Iggy Katonas 1964 Plymouth 2 door sedan.
