  1. please post the link for that amt nascar small block sportsman chevy engine with the dry sump system. I might want to build another one and don't want to go to all this trouble.
  2. Now what fun would that be. Plus I don't want to spend a bunch on aftermarket parts.
  3. I found them in my spare parts box. I don't know what kit they came from.
  4. Need to change up the valve covers and change the way the alternator is mounted and of course finish adding the other parts but that's going to be about it. Don't really know what the actual engine looked like. So i'm just guessing based on info I have found.
  5. Beautiful build. I also purchased this kit and hope to do Wendell Scott's last ride.
  6. Ok, Bruce. Will do.
  7. Any more wips for this build will be posted at the link below. http://randyayersmodeling.com/modelingforum/viewtopic.php?p=695628#695628
  8. Another beautiful build, O.C. As always your paint work is awesome. And to get that result with enamel is amazing.
  9. Great job on all. Never knew Turner drove the #14 Plymouth. Learned something.
  10. Looks like it turned out great.
  11. Very nice, I especially like the Strohs car.
  12. Looking good , Lee.
  13. Believe it or not, this will be my first Dale Earnhardt car. I got some inspiration to do this one.
  14. Thanks guys. I really appreciate the replys.
  15. This was the start of the 1965 Arca Daytona 250. Iggy is on the front row with Jack in his 64 Ford which he replaced with the 64 Plymouth before the next race. He only drove the 64 Plymouth until he got his 65 Plymouth ready.
  16. No, this car ran at the 1965 Arca Daytona race. That is where the picture above was taken. He also drove this car at the race I went to in Houston in march of 1965. It was so much faster then the other cars except for Iggy's Plymouth that it almost seemed unfair.
