Hi, AITM cab & frame with 34,000 lb suspension kit, shortened the frame, Front of pic, fitted pins to tanks , battery boxes etc, Helps for a strong joint in final gluing, Wheels are from M&G mouldings - modified to look MACK like. I pivot the suspension to make sure the wheels will sit on the ground. Also added basic plumbing. Front axle is metal from KFS.

Hi, I have started 2 trucks together a LJX & B61 (.The B61 will have it`s own topic). Both frames are from AITM i cut & swopped the ends over, The cut was supported with a piece of aluminium epoxied in a groove then filled with car body filler, This was so the LJX had the heavier suspension supplied with the B61 frame, Working from pic off the web, I shortened the hood on the LJX then everything was drilled & fitted with pins before final gluing in place after painting.

Great job on this, I really like your subject & colour choice. I built one but its boring 2 tone blue. Graham.

Hi, This 359 was built a while back. I had 2 of these only built this 1, Both are now sold, no room to store or display. It`s box stock except for the fuel tanks which are plastic tube. Sprayed black with a red interior. Thanks for looking.

Hi, Heres the finished Marmon, Srprayed candy regal blue with homemade decals for the stripes, Marmon name on hood cut from chrome vinyl, With lots of homemade & aftermarket parts. Engine from a snaptite kenworth. There are some build pics in WIP. Thanks for looking.

This freightliner is from the box, Finished in Ford Regency Red with a matt black frame, Tinted windows are acetate sheet, Decals from a monogram kenworth snap kit.

Hi, I made this Marmon from a revell kit with many homemade parts from various materials, The frame was reworked, Peterbilt logo on air bags removed, shocks re- positioned, new battery boxes added, fuel tanks made from ali tube, The cab is from a ertl paystar, The hood is top is from the kit the sides & grill from plastic card & wire mesh. I used the wheels & tyres from the kit ( one day i will change those tyres) The engine is from a snap kit. Front bumper is aluminium sheet, I printed the wood effect dash & dials on decal paper then added bezels & switches, Seats are revell items with added detail. Door panels from plastic card. Air cleaner is aluminium tube & fine mesh , Stacks are from the lonestar kit. Sleeper is a revell item with a flat roof added The Paint is metalflake candy Regal blue applied with a touch up spray gun.

Hi, Here`s the finished Lonestar, There are some build pics in wip section. Airbrushed red enamel, black frame, revell headache rack, Kit chrome & with alclad chrome & some bare metal foil. Decals are homemade. Ali tubing for the stacks. These are nice kits to build. Thanks for having a look.

Hi, Made a while ago , I relocated the hood hinges & opened the doors, now the hood sits flush with the cab, The frame was shortened & fitted a headache rack from revell, It is airbrushed in red signwriters enamel. The decals on the window & heatshield are homemade, With the stacks made from aluminium tubing, Mudflap logo are also homemade. Some of the chrome is from alclad The maxxforce engine decal also by me. Thanks for having a look.

Hi, Some build pics of the trailer, made from AMT parts for the frame & axles etc. the box was made from perspex & plastic card covered in thin aluminium pressed on a side panel from the 27ft trailer kit, the rivets then added with a dress makers pounce wheel & a compass pin, these ali panels are stuck on with double sided tape, washed & weathered then finished in satin clear, Mud flaps are thin rubber sheet, Also a picture of the decals i printed on white decal paper. Fleet numbers are on clear decal paper.

Hi heres some build pics of the International, I air brushed it flat red, then gave it a coat of satin clear,applied the home made decals, After it was washed & weathered It was finished with another thin coat of satin clear. Lights are acrylic gems from a craft store. Bumper steps & front handles are staples. Thanks for looking Graham.

Hi. Here`s another older build of mine. I bought this Ertl transtar II off an auction site stripped it down & rebuilt it as a 4070 with weedburner exhausts, The trailer is made from perspex covered in thin aluminium sheet with an AMT bogie. The decals are all homemade.

Hi, Some great models on this thread, I built this Monogram snaptite Kenworth some years ago . I extended the sleeper & used italeri hard plastic tyres, This is now on my rebuild list with a new set of wheels & tyres Just noticed this thread is about PB 359 my mistake.

Thanks for your comment. The color i used was HUMBROL 120 Matt Light Green. REVELL 32365 Matt Patina Green is also a good match. Thanks graham
