  1. Good luck splicing everything back together. Post up progress on the both of them!
  2. Waaaay back in the summer of '79 me & 4 friends drove up to Lake Placid, NY to go camping in one. Drove to Montreal, Ausible Chasmn, etc. We lost our power brake assist coming down White Face Mountain.... talk about childhood memories!!!!! But it was one of the most memorable weeks of my life. And that big Gold Fury was part of it. Thanks for giving the grey matter a jog....
  3. Wow..... thats a pretty build!
  4. When they did the Ghost kits of the Cuda & Charger the red kits were randomly included in cases. I grabbed one ASAP to insure i got it. I did the same thing when they did the clear blue Digger Cuda reissue a few years ago.
  5. I scored a red one off of e-Bay a few years ago. Never see them anymore. On occasion the Chargers pop up, but not the 'Cuda. Nice to see one being built. I have a pro-mod started using a conventional plastic PL body as the basis. One day....
  6. Just a good-word for Vaughn Hart & his service. I ordered a few items that arrived within a few days, and they are nice. Clean castings and well packaged. Nice resin, thank you!
  7. Nice rare kit your building! Looks great!
  8. Hard to beleive Bill usually only builds snap kits...... Just kidding, Bill's work is off the meter. If you stumbeled on this site, hang around. Theres some amazing talent on here. What some of our members do with brass & plastic is incredible. BTW: Having another Mopar guy around here isn't a bad thing. Welcome aboard!
  9. I've been back & forth PM'ing Terry on this topic. When I get home I'll try to post my before & after pictures. Weight Watchers WORKS. Dieting is one of the most challenging things I've done. Quitting smoking was easier!
  10. Junkman: Those phantom C-body Mopar kits are such a tease.... Good Lord that 300 would make a great pro-tourer!
  11. After having a heart related incident when i was in my late 30's because I didn't take care of myself, so now I try and use my head to deal with aging. Diet, execise, stopped smoking, lost weight. I've seen too many friends have illnesses more serious than me, or worst..... Alot we can do to slow down the ineivtable.....
  12. <grin>....... I agree. Great workmanship though, this man can make magic with his skills.
  13. Good luck to everyone north & east of me. We only got about 8-10" in Queens. Watching what the east end of Long Island, Conn, & Mass. received is frightening. 3' of snow is an issue with such highly populated areas, especially the power outages. Wish everyone the best in returning to normal.
  14. I'll say it again, always a treat watching your builds come together Bill. And I'll say this again: could someone please video Bill's Skills? There's fabricating & soldering knowledge worth paying to see how it's done.
  15. Saw the site Vintage Drag models Inc. but had to register to view it. Been waiting 4 days for "approval" & still can't sign on after having name & password approved. Anyone else belong there, or is it a dead forum?
  16. Very nice build!
  17. Merry Christmas everyone! Off to see the nieces & nephews, then we host a small group for dinner. Amy has been baking cookies non-stop for 2 days now and is now doing DOG biscuits for our friends Dogs! My kitchen looks like the set of Scarface with all the flour everywhere ....
  18. Sweeeet! Thanks for sharing.
  19. I thought it was abbreviated for "rate" WIP.
  20. I wonder if that's the same Rambler I was watching on e-Bay 2 weeks ago! Looks great Rich. Your interiors are always awesome. It's been a while since I've watched you put one together and this one is neat. Your buddy is gonna go nuts when he gets it.
  21. May I ask where in NY your friend is? I see an order with him too.... Thanks for posting his link!
  22. Model Car World. That's where I bought some L1 Surf Turquoise Metallic for my '68 Plymouth. They have the darker '67 shade also. It's sold in 3/4 oz. air brush jars, or pre-mixed in areosol cans.
  23. Nice scratch building on the sub frame connectors & ladder bars. Nice job all around! But then again, I'm partial to small block A bodies! BTW: Want to see your model in 1:1? My buddy Tom had a 383 Duster he used to store at my place years ago. Yellow, w/ black interior & top. Weld Pro Stars.
