  1. These new releases are a good way to get my butt in gear and get back on the bench.....
  2. Tim, thanks for the back-story on this kit. To say I'm happy to see it us an understatement. Just waiting to hear a hands-on review before we celebrate. And with the prospect of a Sox & Martin version this kit has winner written all over it. I think Revell listened and did their homework. Can't wait to see it released!
  3. I actually tasted a little vomit in the back of my throat when I read that..... Imagine finally getting a decent Hemi Cuda and they Donk'd it?
  4. Actually.... I drive the Maxima or the GTI to work during the week. On the Saturdays I work I take the Barracuda as traffic is off-the-charts insane on weekdays.Today is Saturday & I have to work. Time to wake up the neighbors!
  5. I met Bud at Toledo many years ago and one of his builds was this killer white VW bug drag car. Everything about it was spot on.I always enjoyed seeing his work.
  6. Technician for Infiniti for just over 20 yrs. now. Been with them from the beginning. Spent 10 yrs. with Porsche/Audi before that.
  7. Yeah..... the hood. How the heck did you do THAT!?!?!
  8. That's it..... One look at that Pistol Grip shifter and I can't believe what I see. Dude...... MASSIVE skills!
  9. This is fantastic to watch. With a few more pictures and embellished text it would make a great How-To book. Absolutely a lesson in fabricating. Thank you.
  10. Geeez.... I wish it was practical to build a display like that for my car. The set up & transporting would almost be as bad as buying the materials. But that is soooooo cool!
  11. There are 12 step programs that cater to people like this. Cute post.... especially the "perky in all the right places.." mention.
  12. Slipped that one in and no one knows ......
  13. I have a Modelhaus resin of that car. It's soooooo ugly it's stunning. I love your planned Ramcharger build! Keep it going!
  14. Kevin how are you! Good to see you here. The modeling bug got you? I almost got back into it, but all our spare time is spent between the house & our families. Maybe this fall/winter.....
  15. Yeah.... a '68 Coronet R/T. That would be sweeeeet!
  16. That's a beautiful color combination..... Very nice job!
  17. You have no idea how bad I want an ACCURATE '68 Barracuda. After all, it was the original Hemi Barracuda. Spin-off's include anything in the Hemi shoot-out series, Hemi under Glass, and of course Ronnie Sox's Fastback. I have a stash of '68 MPC annuals, but they are '68 annuals, if you know what I mean. I'd love a new-tool, but I am in the minority. Good post Brian. How's things over at the A Body site? Tell the old-timers I said HI....
  18. Take a peek in the Hemi Cuda thread and see the insanity brewing. It's been locked, and un-locked, once already. People are all over the map talking about it being a potential new-tool. I wonder how hot, heavy, and " lively " that thread will get! Im also looking forward to the Olds. I re-vamped the old die-cast version by Ertl into a stock car years ago.
  19. Your winging it and it looks like THiS?!?!? Geeez.... Awesome build my friend , awesome.
  20. Geeez....... I love watching your builds. I learn all the things I'll never be able to do. Nice work Dude..... ###### nice work.
  21. Saran Wrap plastic cling will work too, but it's easier to use as a mask. BTW: Nice rack.....
  22. I snapped this shot at the Garlits Museum.
  23. Going off in a different direction.... I rarely use epoxy for this stuff. What I use is 3/4 oz. fiberglass matting (R/C air plane stuff) and Zap-Gap. I use it to trap the brass between the F'glas and plastic. You can cut thin strips, wrap over the hinge tube, and glue to the plastic. The fiberglass cloth dries hard and solidly bonded to the plastic. Try it....
