  1. I'm going on 11yrs. tobacco free. I smoked for over 25 yrs. and stopped cold-turkey. I had a head cold and the cigarettes tasted horrible. After 2 weeks I realized I could quit. My taste buds changed, my sense of smell increased, and a flight of stairs doesn't hit me like 3 glasses of Scotch anymore . Unfortunately , my wife still smokes.... I wish she would quit. Good luck. Chewing gum helped too
  2. Dude... that Ford is stunning! I'll chime in an agree with everyone else about the colors, finish, wheels, etc. Beautiful job...beautiful!
  3. Animals as Leaders... I'll give `em a listen. Thanks for the heads-up. Speaking of hard rock, last night I went and saw Iced Earth (sucked...) Hell Yeah (a favorite) and a surprise head-line act: Volbeat. Those guys are a great mix of Rockabily-punk-metal-R&R. Great show. Volbeat had to stop at one point to ask the crowd to mellow in the pit. 4 brawls broke out and security had their hands full. My friend took his 10yr. old to his first concert last night. We sat in the balcony watching the carnage from a safe distance. It was a great show!
  4. My eye still see's a little mis-proportion on the roof height, especially the rear pillars.
  5. Wow.... What kind of Metal you into?
  6. Did you sit on his lap & pull his beard? Thanks for contributing to the conversation.....
  7. Where in Morgantown? I used to live in Ephrata and have friends in New Holland. As a matter of fact, whenever ever I visit I take that exit and take the scenic route into the Ephrata/ Denver area.
  8. And the Mets won. As a matter of fact, a few minutes ago we just swept the Orioles!
  9. Amy & myself were waiting to get into Citi-Field last night for the Mets game when Eddie Trunk & Jim Florentine walk past us. For those into heavy rock know Eddie from his VH-1 gig "That Metal Show" on Saturday nights. We had an opportunity to thank him for a cool show and shake his hand, and let them go watch the game even though I had approximately 6,000 questions I could have asked him. I didn't even bother going for the phone for a picture... it was that quick. This Dude drank with Lemmy and sat close enough to Marilyn Manson to catch an STD. Man did I have questions....
  10. I saw the Broadway play and that was awesome if for nothing else the band. The guys would go from Journey to Twisted Sister to Night Ranger so seemlessly it was amazing. And yes, it was a live band.... Wifey wants to go see. Maybe this weekend we'll check it out. We enjoyed the play, we'll see the movie.
  11. Mine is so self-explanatory, I should delete this post.
  12. I've said it before, I'll say it again. You have some great original ideas, with tasteful execution. This is no exception. It looks Sweeeeet!!!! ....although a mild chop might take it to the next level.
  13. Can I add one?I agree, all the IMC models had great box art too. It didn't matter if it was the Lear jet the VW or the Lola. All of them were beautifully rendered.Great thread!
  14. That's a really well thought out build John. Sure looks like it's going together nice & smooth.... And I'll chime in about looking forward to the finished piece.
  15. While no big fan of Camaro's, I am a HUGE fan of beautiful workmanship. The color & finish combined with an impressive first-attempt w/ BMF makes for an awesome looking Camaro. I also can't imagine any other wheel looking better than what you choose. Nice job, even if it is another 69 Camaro....
  16. Just realized it's a die cast. Not like that's a bad thing, but I was going to compliment on the top chop.
  17. Wait a second.... Is that a Porsche 911 fan shroud I see hiding in there?!? Hippie bus my butt. That's a sleeeeeeper!
  18. Sorry...my bad. Beautiful Ghia presented here. In a previous life I was totally submerged in the VW scene during the late 70's-early 80's, and I agree, Fuchs look GOOD ON ANYTHING!
  19. OUCH! I'm assuming ex-girlfriend?
  20. Way cool! My guitarist/best friend idolizes Dime too. He got to meet him briefly after a show in New Jersey when Damage Plan played the Starland Ballroom. A few short weeks later.... he was gone.
  21. I need the Plymouth version of those....
  22. I'm curious about these hub caps too... Could you post a pic?
  23. What a fantastic build, it's absolutely beautiful... I read in another post it was heavily recognized at awards time. Congratulations!
  24. Sounds like a solid combo Corey... My regret from youth was the Forrest Green w/ Black bucket interior '68 Fastback 383-4spd. I traded for a mint `70 Sedan de Ville. This was in `78 when they were "just old cars..." Speaking of forum names, any reference to Dimebag is fine by me. I'm going to see Hell Yeah next Friday night out here on Long Island. I saw them with Clutch a month ago and they're back around again w/ Volbeat & Iced Earth. Can't wait....
