Yeah... but you have to fold it up REAL small first. -

I agree; I don't think anyone is THAT uninformed to not research something before spending.... -
I think I have all the various versions of this kit. I really should build one of the duplicates. BTW: If you shop some of the cheap die casts you might find more options. I found these on a swap meet $3 `32 Roadster. I popped them on this 1/43" Satellite with a quickie alumin um roll bar. Took me all of 20 minutes to put together and I think it looks cool....

You knew it wouldn't be long before I'd stop in and take a peek.... This is a neat little kit and that's a great color choice, but your going to shoot green instead of the red slash stripes? I'm not a fan of the C piller shape either, or the GTO scoop, but it IS a second generation Barracuda. BTW: What wheels are you going to use?

				What are your biggest distractions?
FASTBACK340 replied to wgflatliner's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have an active Ibanez BTB 5 string that I can make nails back out of the walls with that little rig. G-K 1001RB & a 4X10" G-K SBX cabinet. To keep things on track, I too can blame my Bass as a distraction. I have a small Fender Sidekick practice amp under the end table in my living room and there's always a Bass on the stand plugged in (unless it's got active electronics...). There's been night I sit down, recline with the Bass, and I can stay there playing & watching TV all night. With my feet up... -

This is a treat witnessing Mr. Clayton advising on the details. Your one lucky guy Bill! This rail is fantastic... describing it any other way is pointless.- 369 replies

The Edlebrock replacement Carter AFB's are a brighter silver finish, almost polished in appearance. A Carter Thermoquad has a black plastic body. Rochesters are a similar finish as the Jet Exhaust mentioned earlier. Google carburetor images would help too.

Here's a color comparison on the 6 Bbl. Holley's. The base plates are silver-ish...the carbs a combination shade of grey/aluminum. On mine the center carb metering plate is aftermarket black plastic, otherwise that would be the same as the fuel bowls/body.

				What are your biggest distractions?
FASTBACK340 replied to wgflatliner's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
LOL!! My biggest problem these days is by the time I get home from work after being on my feet for 10-12 hours... I walk the dog, start dinner, and do the 1,001 things a house requires, my feet are shot. It's all I can do to get in the recliner and get `em up high. My workbench doesn't allow that luxury. And my days off (such as today...) is divided between doing the bigger household chores (today I'm replacing 2 bedroom and the bathroom doors...) I have no time. Throw in that cruise season is here and I'm usually putzing around with the 1:1 cars.Junkman is right... I need to do something about that "job" issue. -
	Enjoy your new axe.... !

Being I collect everything/anything second generation Barracuda, I have a few die casts kicking around. Aside from all the `68 Barracuda variations by JL (including most White Lightnings) just a few weeks ago I finally scored a Zinger Barracuda. In Turquoise no less, just like my car. If/when I find the others I'll add them. Darn Zinger Barracuda's can be tough to find....

				SMP 1911 Chevrolet
FASTBACK340 replied to Chuck Most's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
This will be a nice piece of modeling history to have available. The only down-side will be the inevitable flood of 1911 Chevy builds at all the shows! And yes, I'll grab one too! -

Third gen `Cuda's as common as Red Camaro's.... `49 Merc's are as common as third gen `Cuda's. Now, that Duster has a "do it now" look to it. -

I don't know who got "unfairly banned..." but I've seen some rather bad attitudes here more & more often lately, which IS a shame. But on a happier note, now Rommel can put some real effort onto his projects. And not those questionable models he does now ;-) -
	That's waaaaay cool! Nice build!
