  1. Good to see this build active again Ryan! I'd hate to see you start over again... get them flares right! Love this build.... please cast it.
  2. How about a Peel Trident?
  3. I've heard the same. If you search You Tube there's a segment from 60 Minutes where the three of them are interviewed. Something like 35 million viewers. I haven't watched more than 35 minutes of TGUSA.....
  4. He owns a big dog & builds models.... one of us. Welcome aboard and yes, those Fathom El Camino's are neat! Trucks ain't bad either.
  5. What? No "peep" show?
  6. But if you REALLY wanted to open a few eyes.......
  7. Years ago I used to drive from NYC to Baltimore, Md, meet up with friends from Md./Pa. and continue out to Toledo. Only did it twice, but well worth the experience. If there's any way you can get out here....do it. It's well worth the experience. On average, over 1,500 models. Yeow-za!
  8. Me personally would have chosen a different set of wheels, but personal preference aside that is one smokin` hot drop top. Excellent color combination and beautiful build. Kudos!
  9. Great stuff Tim! Thanks for posting! Cobo is on my bucket list, along with a few others. I must admit.... the most clever fictitious shop truck was Viagra Falls Lumber. I laughed pretty good at THAT door art!
  10. EIGHT WEEKS !?!?!?!?! Jeeeeezzz.... I was hoping to get something done. We've had an unbelievably rough month of February and model building was way-down on the priority list. Either way, NNL East is,relatively speaking, in my backyard and I've only missed about 6 since it started. It's a must-see event. Amy & myself are looking forward to seeing you Rich, along with everyone else I haven't seen, or met yet. It's always a great day out.
  11. I don't know about the PL plastic kit statement Art. While the clear bodied Cuda's & Charger's might not be popular, the RED tinted clear ones are hard to find, and desirable.Anyone have a red Charger they want to part with?BTW: I had wondered about using silver behind the transparent plastic too. I'd love to see how it came out. When I do get a Manx kit, I'd prefer white, but would like to know I have options.
  12. That was going to be my question too!My Wife & myself are hopelessly addicted to TGUK. Great thread and builds!
  13. BTW: Nice GeeGaws. Spot Munster Jr. hands down favorite!
  14. Same here.... last time I said something like that I got slapped.
  15. Good for you Wayne. It's a great feeling isn't it? Mine has made me a baseball watcher and Met fan (for what THAT'S worth these days....)and tolerant of her book collection (Think models take up space?) and in return she set's the reminder on the TV for Top Gear (which she loves...) and NHRA events (which she watches with me) It's all about being open-minded and compromise. Glad to hear of guys with family acceptance and involvement!
  16. Ya `no... I lived in Lancaster County Pa. for almost 5 yrs. and not ONCE did I EVER have the urge to try Scrapple?
  17. Personally, I can wait until August for this kit. We never had one...why rush it now?
  18. I'm well aware of law enforcement as my Father was a Corrections Officer in the incomparable NYC prison system... and I've had relatives come home in pieces from Viet Nam and on up. It's all the same. Death sucks.... Now I'm off to a hall not far from where NNL East is held in NJ to pay respects at a memorial service for my friends Mom. My friends Father is being flown into the States this weekend. We start again next week.... Grrrr!
  19. This might help you..... http://www.megahobby.com/1968camarodetailsetforamt1967camarokitphotoetched1/241/25modelcargarage.aspx
  20. This is absolutely amazing.... Scratch build an entire 4 door sedan?!?!? Wow.... you've hooked another one. Carry on!
  21. Maybe it was in bad taste on my part for the celebrity inclusion, but the point was that I haven't seen so many back to back in my life. Good Lord... I can't turn anywhere without being reminded. My OP wasn't meant to be polarizing or taken insensitively.
  22. Last week I had made a post of having three deaths within my circle of friends/family last week. I've had two more this week, plus Darrin's loss, not to mention the celebrities that passed this week....
  23. Probably the better ones I have.... Dave, great shot!
