Question for ya Joe. So you painted the front bumpers with Alclad? Did you put a sealer over the Alclad? I just painted resin bumpers for my Chevelle SS build with Molotow. I'm concerned I will smudge or dull the "chrome" installing them.

I've had that on the shelf for a while now and like you, good question on what to do with it. Day 2, stock with Cragers comes to mind in a bright color.

Good point Dave. He mentions what I assumed to be craft paints and that's what I was going on for the clears I have used.

Two great builds Conrad and David. "Hot rod" pickup would be pretty darn cool IMO.

You will get quite a few differing opinions on what clear to use. Future (or now Revive I think its called) is pretty forgiving and I use it (the old Future actually). Needs several coats so as not to put it on too heavy to avoid runs. I have also used Rustoleum Crystal Clear Acrylic Lacquer over craft paint with good results. I have never used any of the actual model paint clears. Fire on guys'!!

I don't think I actually did a WIP Patrick. This kit is definatly challenging, a lot of fit issues especially with the whole rear assembly. I finally gave up trying to get the rear bonnet to fit right and just glued it in place. Can't see the engine anyway. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

But of course Joe, another great looking build!!. Interesting about the smoke on the chrome wheels. Also on the bumpers???? ??

Not to take business away from Kris, but I needed MAD wired distributors pretty quickly and ordered the MAD distributors from Spotlight Hobbies. Same price and reasonable shipping. They shipped them the next day after ordering and I got them in just a few days. Great service.

Wow, I'm pretty amazed that people are waiting so long for items.from Kris. About all my purchases have been distributors and I don't think I've had to wait more than 2 weeks for an order to be shipped.

Ditto what "Meatman" said James. The wired distributors are great. You may have to email Kris a couple times but he has always gotten back to me. And yep, sometimes there is a bit of a delay in getting parts shipped.
