Built this '57 Chevy Bel Air 2-door Sedan with only mods being the Cragers and a 2-4bbl's (not the factory replicas) on the 283 engine.
Paint is Mr. Color with Mr. Color clear. The wheels and BFG tires are from Iceman Collections. Really like his products. Aluminum tubing tailpipe extensions. Not even close to my best BMF work but looks OK.
Thanks for looking 😊
Super job Stuart!! I had the pleasure of special ordering a '71Cutlass S with the W-25 scooped hood and HP350 back in the day and just loved that car.
Great build 👍
Thanks for the interesting pictures. I've always been a Porsche fan and did own a '72 911T Targa for a few months. Had to sell it when my wife got pregnant as it was our only car and had no A/C. Not tolerable in the high humidity in New Orleans. Loved it tho!!
If you want to try the Mr. Color lacquer bottled primer, paints and clear you won't be disappointed. For sure tho, use the Mr. Hobby 400 leveling thinner. But, the Mr. Surfacer (primers), especially the black and the thinner is hard to find lately.
